South Side continued to only play better as the season went on. Played really well the last 2 games against some good teams. If they play with the intensity they showed against Crockett County & Lexington they should come out on top. I think they will do much better in the playoffs this year than they have in the past and will suprise everyone. Should be a great game. Page fans have a safe trip to South Jackson. Looking forward to the game. GO HAWKS!!

I am a Jackson Southside fan and this is hard to say but we played Liberty this week a they are a awesome team. South Side is a much improved team but just could not keep up with Liberty. Liberty has a even better team than they had last year. I predict that they will win state again this year. Moving up next year will not effect this team if they still have the talent they have this year.Hats off to the crusaders.

North Side, Haywood, Madison, Ripley, Crockett County,Covington They have one more win but I am unsure who this was. It was in the Thanksgiving Tourney at Lexington. They are 7-1. There only lose was to JCM by 1 point. They should have took this game also. They are playing much better this year but still have lots of improvments to make. All there games were close except the Madison game and whoever they played the 2nd game against in the tourney. I think the game will be a good one Saturday but will be close. Go Hawks!

South Side has been a fun team to watch this year. They will go far in the play offs. Yes, They are a "special" team this year and everyone will see that they are unlike any other team in the past. They play with determination and pride and never give up. They are a very well disciplined team. They have amazed me all year. A team keys in on one player and someone else steps up and makes the big plays and you never know who that may be. Arment has been a great leader for the team and has played with control, just what the hawks needed this year. It will be hard for anyone to shut our offense down with Forrest, Bates and James and the awesome offensive line. Our defense has also done a super job. I predict the Hawks will be playing Crockett County in the semi's which will be a great game with a packed house. Good luck to the Hawks and for the Senior Hawks hope this will be a year that will be remembered for all long time. I will be in the stands cheering the Hawks to victory.GOOD LUCK HAWKS!! I agree with you 100%. I think that we will suprise everyone. Two of the losses that we had we several key players out with injuries and should have posted wins. The last 3 games have been very impressive.Corey has made some fantastic catches and since Marshal has taken the role of QB(Which was a change that was definatley for the good) our team has been unstopable. Our boys have played with lots of heart. Good luck HAWKS!! Make South Jackson proud!

off I-40 west you need to take the Christmasville exit(not sure of the exit ) take a left at the top of the ramp. You will continue straight on this road.you will go past Ridgecrest ext., Parkway,Whitehall,Lexington & Cartmell St.(This will be FE Wright dr./70 that you are on). This will turn into Chester St. You won't to go W.Chester St. You will go over a overpass where you will need to be in the far left hand lane. You will take a left onto Highland Ave. (45-south). Once you are on 45-S continue straight. You will go through some bottom land with lots of carlots and mobile home places. You will then be in SOUTH JACKSON. You will come to a light with a Wal-greens on the right.Continue straight to the next light. You will take a left at this light. You can see the school from the stop light. Welcome to South Side High School-The Hawks Nest! As far a eating places there is a Sonic,McDonalds,Wendy's,Taco Bell & Long John Silver's (fast food) If you like mexican there is a Los Portales which is good and Catfish Cabin,which you will go past on your way in before you get to Kroger & BlockBuster, which is good if you like fish. Most of the nice eating places are on the North Side of Jackson. As far as the weather they are calling for scattered showers high of 69 low of 57. Maybe the rain will hold off! The Liberty game was just a fluke.Don't know what happen to us that night.We had lots of key players injured and where out for that game(But that's no excuse for what happened that night). The touchdown that Liberty scored to put them ahead was luck. They fumbled the ball and it bounced into the endzone and they recovered it for a touchdown. We have made some postion changes that have helped us tremendously. Especially the change in QB's. Marshall is a great all-around player and has done a great job at QB. A change that was much needed.Southside should have also beat USJ and been 9-1 for the season but that didn't happen either. The team has really bounced back from these 2 losses and have made a great season for this team. We are proud of our HAWK team for keeping there heads! Take it all the way! Thanks cavs fan for the support. Ya'll put up one great fight against us Friday and it was a great game(you really gave us a scare). Will be looking forward to your support Friday night.Your fans know how to pack a stadium and support your team which is great to see! GO HAWKS! BEAT GREENBRIER!
