congratulations to covington on winning a hard fought game 33-28. #18 killed us up the middle and we just took too long to get it going. great adjustments by covington from the first game to slow our passing game down. crockett had a great season, nothing to hang their heads about. i am proud to be a crockett county fan. this is the time of year where anyone can lose at any time. congrats again to covington, best of luck next week.

if the better team won every game there would be no sense in playing them. crockett will be a tough out come tournament time.

I went to the Greenbrier - Southside game as an unbiased Crockett County spectator. Aldridge far and away was the MVP for Greenbrier in this game. He played super defense on a very good Southside receiver, holding him to 0 yards, and running back an interception for a td. On offense his crisp passing kept Southside off balance as they keyed on Herndon. Southside didn't have an answer for Aldridge. He is a really good player.

greenbrier needs to focus on this year and not worry about next year. with 25 or so seniors the time is now. you can't take an earnest williams off of crockett county and not be down some, and you can't take a roger herndon off of greenbrier and have the same team. focus on this year, its the best chance you are gonna have. make the most of it. good luck.

i don't think 6-3a is a joke. i don't think it is as strong as region 7 but thats the way it goes. i look for liberty to be a force in this district next year, maybe even winning the district. i wish that fayette-ware would have been moved to region 8 with the 5 memphis teams. that would have made sense and balanced out the regions numbers a little bit better. then crockett could have stayed where they were. crockett county will be tough the next several years, and will certainly be battle tested come playoff time. what would you rather watch crockett-covington, crockett-haywood, crockett-dyersburg or crockett-fayette ware or chester county? i think the new district will be exciting, way more exciting than some of the blowouts we have had in the past. give it a chance cavcav, i think it will be fun. and we don't have to listen to bulldog69 anymore as an added bonus.

greenbrier better not worry about next year.. this is their year to git-er-done if they are going to.

you better look at region 7 with covington, haywood, crockett, dyersburg, ripley, ect. that will be a tough region for sure.

region 6 will represent itself well next friday. southsides front 4 is small, greenbrier will have an advantage there, but they won't be able to break any long runs against southsides defense. they are very, very fast. herndon will have trouble getting 100 yards, if he does it will be on at least 25 carries. can aldridge throw 100% now, or is he still feeling the effects of the injury? that being said, southside is hit or miss on offense, so this is anyones game. good luck to both teams. my team is out, so i am gonna stay off anyones bandwagon.

southside is a little tougher than marshall, trust me. their defense flys to the ball. greenbrier better have some pass to go with the run, or it will be a long night if southside can sit on the run. should be a good game, i am taking the 15 mile trip to jackson next friday.

don't pity southside, they have a good team. i thought you were a page fan bulldog??

looks like greenbrier is experiencing the gusts of hot air that blew thru crockett county the past two years. the hot air will continue to blow from lewisburg until game day, then it will die down immediately the next day not to be heard from again until next year. greenbrier wins this game by 14.

bulldog, why didn't you say hi to me???? i was right in front of you if you were on our side. i won't say anything about the game other than crockett was very fortunate to win. could have went either way. its one of those things where if the two teams play 10 times each team would win 5. good luck to page next year. jeff.
