its been filled by an assistant coach from Georgia. not sure if it has been announced yet or not.

new OL coach is gary sanders. he played at hendersonville and at MTSU. he was most recently the OL coach at south gwinnett h.s. in GA. seems like a good young coach

now that coach stevens has been named HC , how will the cordinators slots shake out ? if coach gray stays is he the OC and who runs the defense now that coach lussier is gone ? anybody in the know have a clue ??? spring is right around the corner.

has sequoyah decided on a football coach yet ? they had susposedly picked 5 finalists a few months ago but no word since then. any news ???

#49, administration says they are taking resumes now and will start interviews after the new year. i know of one coach who has been contacted to interview.

bradley has hired john allen. i was wondering if there was any new news concerning the cleveland job? rumors were flying that it was a 2 horse race between benny monroe and gary rankin. just wanted to see if anybody has the scoop on that situation. have they both interviewed already? although, with those 2 coaches and their resume's , "interview" is not the right word.

im not sure about your figures for benny's salary in GA. lafayette is in walker co and that is far,far away from the highest paying counties in GA. including his retirement he would make between 65-75,000. you have to check and see if that county allows people to bring in all of their years from another state (its a county to county decision in GA). the highest paids coaches in GA are in metro atlanta and south GA (valdosta,etc)..... hope he gets back into coaching. i enjoyed playing his teams when i was in high school. is there any news on the new HC at cleveland and bradley ???

are you sure this job is open ? a friend of mine called the school and spoke to the AD's secretary and she said to her knowledge the job was not open. where did you get your info ??? if it is open who do you need to contact to apply ? PLEASE DONT MOVE THIS THREAD TO THE COACHES FORUM. NOBODY EVER LOOKS ON THAT THREAD AND GUYS INTERESTED IN SEQUOYAH CANT FIND INFO.
