Update: PirateMike is at home but his struggles continue. He has a hospital bed and is on oxygen continuously. Unfortunately due to his current condition, he was denied the transplants . His body is just not strong enough to withstand such a big surgery. Please continue to pray for him.

SP vs Gordonsville - a familiar ring every year. I look for the Pirates to come out firing on all cylinders tonight and take control early in this one. Gordonsville will punch back but will not have enough to overcome what the Pirates will bring at them. Best of luck to both teams for an injury free game. Honestly he has not played like a 5 star this year. Slow and takes a lot of plays off.

To be effective, you need a mixture of run and pass. Limit the passing game because of rain, then both teams can adjust defensively. Could result in a hard fought 4 quarter low scoring game. I'm not sure how much rain is expected, you know how the weather changes around here. I wonder how many playoff games in the past have been moved to Thursday or Saturday, or is that even an option?
