  1. This should be a very good game, both team have alot to play for, the Cats entering there fist season of varsity football they have alot to prove and have the talent to do good things this year, and Red Boiling Springs wants a win very bad, im not sure on the losing streak how long it is, but that is motivation enough to win and with the upstart cats coming in they want to win it bad, we will just have to se who wants it more, by the way, does anyone know how long the streak is exactly?
  2. This Friday is a big night for the Bobcats , as it will play its first Varsity football game in over 30 years, how does everyone see this going??
  3. I just want to congratulate CSAS on coming up here and playin as hard as you all did, you came at us from the beginning and we played extremely sloppy at the start of the game, alot of it was nerves im sure but CSAS pressed hard and has a very talented and young team by the sound of it so congrates and good luck in the 'boro. I must say your alls cheerleaders were awesome and the fans that did come were very enthusiastic, and i have to give it up to our student section too, thats as loud as i have heard them all year long nice job guys. As for the Cats, it was a great year great run through the tourneys just didnt want it as bad as they did on this night, and as far as if it were goaltending or not it was tough to see where i was from but never the less i thought the refs did a good job in this game they let the kids play ball and didnt play in the decision of the game if PC would have not made mistakes and played like they are capable of night in and night out we would have won by 10 or more but like i said CSAS came to our house and played better than us end of story no excuses from this Bobcat fan, just praise for a great season look forward to next year and to the Pats give em heck in murfreesboro.
  4. Well i first want to congratulate Grace on the win, you were the superior team tonight and best of luck in the state tourney. To the Bobcats, you guys exceeded my and everyones expectations this year, to win 26 games, be district and region runner-up and play in a sub-state game after losing 5 starters, and starting 4 sopomores and 1 junior this year is just awesome, you guys have no reason to hang your heads down at all you guys did great this year and the next 2 years should be even better, once again great season Bobcats and im already lookin forward to next year.
  5. Congrats to BA on yet another title run, this being probably the best yet, cant wait to see Wright playin for my Tar Heels next year, hopefully he can continue his streak of championships and bring at least one or two to the heels before he goes pro.
  6. What does everyone think about who will win the gold ball in 1A this year, personally i would love to see Jackson Co/RBS go at it for the 5th time this year for the gold ball. Alot of people at the beginning of the year including me predicted JC and Clarkrange would be the 2 teams playing 5 times with the last one being in the title game but RBS kind of flew in under the radar and took Clarkrange's spot, JC has won all 4 meetings this year against RBS, so i would love to see 7A represent us and bring the gold ball back to the upper cumberland, it will be a tough road though as it always is, what does everyone else think.
  7. I say Temple makes it 4 in a row over the Dawgs
  8. Temple over Clay Co. Wayne Co. over Nash. Christian Middleton over Union City Wartburg over Cloudland Cosby over Hampton Humboldt over Middle College East Robertson over Columbia Academy Grace over Pickett Co. as much as would like to say Pickett will beat Grace I just think we are a year away and Grace is having a great season and im sure they will be thinkin about that 20 point loss last year at our place, and Clay Co. well all i can say is that it will just be a closer ride home cause i think Temple will win for the 4th straight time against Clay in the sectionals but we will all find out tom. night how things go, and with the way the tournaments have gone this year i wouldnt be surprised to see an upset or 2, or at least one(Pickett over Grace)
  9. If Pickett can slow the pace of the game and get Grace into foul trouble early on then Pickett has achance to win but if Grace gets on them early then it will be a long night for the Bobcats as far as predictions go ill just let the teams settle this one.
  10. only one upset tonight and i dont consider it a huge upset either and thats Pickett beating Clay, this will be another classic though but i think JC is too much for the Dawgs, JC wins by 7.
  11. Pickett outplayed Clay for the biggest part of the this game and should have won, but they made some youthful mistakes and the more experienced clay co team pulled out the win. this was a great game to watch and the Bobcats should not hang there heads at all they have played great the last 2 time they have played clay, and to be 24-7 district runner-up and a great chance to play a sub-state game, not to bad for a team that was suppose to be down and be lucky to finish 3rd or 4th i would say. Congrats to Clay co on the win, you guys did what it took to win, at times i thought Walden needed a saddle as close as he was defending but i would have done the same thing if i had been in his shoes if the officials were letting them play like that. The officiating was inconsistent late in the game on both sides but we lost because of to many mistakes down the stretch when we had the game in hand, and also Godwin's free throw shhoting down the stretch was hugeso congrats to him and all the bulldog players and hope Rich wasnt hurt too bad and hopefully he'll be ready to play in the region. This loss wasnt as bad as it could be since the cats are out of the friendship side of the bracket but we cant look past anyone or it will be all over good luck to the cats and the dogs in the region
  12. Actually it was 48-38 in favor of pickett, rbs played a heck of a game and really surprised the cats tonight i think. Pickett will have to play much better if they want to beat JC tom. night
  13. They are back in school this week and the game is on as far as i know, i havent heard if it has been cancelled, but if some of the players are sick it will take some of the anticipation out of this game, but none the less both teams im sure are looking forward to this matchup, the bobcats are coming off a loss last tuesday at Van Buren so they should be ready to go, they rarely lose 2 in a row but when you have to run into Clay its always tough, this will be a much closer game than it was at Clay, but the cats will have to play there best basketball of the season to pull the upset at home.
  14. Holy cow, i cant believe LA but such a thumping on Clay, that is very shocking, hey devil can you give me some insight on the game I didnt make it down to watch, sure didnt sound too good for you guys, and hows your boy i heard he got hurt how bad is it.
