  1. He went from being Head Baseball coach and teacher at TC to being Head Baseball Coach and teacher at Lebanon.
  2. Not sure what this person is talking about. He left Trousdale for Lebanon, then he left Lebanon to coach football at Oakland. Been there ever since.
  3. He did leave as a new dad for a job making 15k more than he was at Trousdale. If he did not care why would he be so eager to take the paycut and come back.
  4. Bingo my friend, always been like that.
  5. Just because I do not live in county does not mean I can't care and keep a decent grasp on what is going on. And 3/4 blatant lies? And you can leave 615 out of this, this is Cam the Trousdale County alumni talking because I do care for the program. You have done exactly what you wanted to do, act like you don't know anything but yet you come out with all this information, hmm must be close to the source... times of change are coming to Hartsville and it doesn't matter who doesn't like it. I would like to see Vetetoe as the coach for sure, but I also understand the situation but others are not understanding that their are dozens of coaches in the area and several Trousdale County faculty members with the same charge that he has, mistakes happen. Even Clint said for him to come back after this season. And as for Robbie, you ain't lying.
  6. Not arguing that you’re wrong here, but the MS made that decision to change MS conferences. I agree you should attempt to play Macon, smith, etc.
  7. No sir I did not slander him, I simply stated what some others think, Eden is a great dude in my book. Why would he promise someone with no football coaching experience a coordinator job smh. It’s no secret I’m friends with him but you seem to know a lot more than you initially posted at the start of this board. I don’t know as much at the moment because I no longer live in county to keep track of what’s happening. I have bigger fish to fry on my end before I worry about a coaching position. And if you think Robbie has all that money, maybe you should tell him to give me some lol
  8. He resigned smh, and have you ever heard of charged but not convicted. Some people in this county baffle me with their need to slander others. Have you asked any of the 30+ parents that signed a petition to get him reinstated at the board meeting this week how they feel about this? Just let it play out, at the end of the day the only people that will bring TC back are the ones that know what its about at its core. People hate losing and they aren't used to it at TC. I for 1, and I'm sure others too, understand having a dip in talent and not being able to compete for a state title every year. But in the past, TC teams have outworked more talented teams, they didn't continuously lose the turnover battle, they didn't commit 8+ penalties in several games each season, and I believe several of the folks in town that want Blake out feel as if he is neglecting the history of the program. This is from a source that used to be extremely close to the program (not me lol), Blake gets out of school midday and the players show up and there is no practice plan or itinerary. I also understand those that are on team Blake, when he has loads of talent, he wins. He does know football and he is a tremendous DC, and if the rumors are true then he will do great things. As for the board member issue, it is what it is, everyone that's true to the county know that and nothing has changed. I agree though that they should strive to make the facilities as good as we can. And as far as potential candidates, I agree there is very few options. West, Vetetoe (yes I know), and couple others that could have some interest. Whatever happens is massive for the program during a pivotal time before the next big wave of stars make their way through.
  9. Was unaware he had started teaching again, loved him as my history teacher. And this is not my opinion at all, just know certain folks in town that felt like Coach Eden was to firm/strict on the kids. Again not my opinion at all, Coach Eden is a great dude in my book.
  10. No longer a faculty coach, and some in the county doesn't like his coaching style. It's a huge ? on where they go.
  11. No idea lol, patience and a high work ethic is a necessity, doubt there will be a ton apply, I would think those two would have an inside shot if the job does come available.
  12. Some people may be about to get their wish, for better or for worse.
  13. You're in the ballpark, depends on if some of the things I'm hearing is correct and what comes next.
  14. There is an awful lot of chatter and not much good lol. Can they bounce back? Absolutely, but not in the immediate future. A few years away.
  15. I've been fortunate enough to make several stops along the way and all have been very cool and unique experiences. The food was pretty dang tasty too. A few of my favorites have been Bell-Buckle Cafe (Cascade), Mustang Cafe (Loretto), and I can't leave out the Decatur Family Diner (Meigs County). All three are old fashioned comfort food and incorporate the history of their towns. Love all 3 of them and would recommend.
  16. Won't be much longer now....
  17. Wish I could snap my fingers and it be fixed, but unfortunately that’s not possible. It’s not just the W and L that bothers me, the program has lost all of the traditions it was built on. But that’s enough on this thread, DCA should make a hire pretty quickly to keep from falling behind and hopefully keeping everyone happy.
  18. Tick tock, big decision coming for the wildcats heading into a season where they could win it all or it could all come tumbling down.
  19. They better make up their mind before this option is forever vetoed by the negligence of the powers that be. If they wait to long he be gone. The politics of the town have weighed on the program but the pettiness of some have been what has broken the spirit of being a Yellow Jacket. This is not any one person's fault but a culmination of a lot of little things. Said little things are what used to win us games in November. Anyone that has been around the program since the 80s, players, coaches, staff, diehard fans, etc. have all felt the disgust and anguish that the results of the last two seasons have brought. For those that know the signs in the locker room must come down because they are just a representation of the past glories and not of the status of the current program. Those signs must be earned not given. It's so disrespectful to the program and to the past legends of Trousdale County to blame the lack of success on talent alone. Everyone must do better, or change has to come, that TC and those colors will forever be in our hearts and minds, but they also used to be in our opponents as well. Hard Work, Conditioned, Discipline, Drive....all more important than talent. As for your suggestion... ditto! My time is nearing and I hope that I too get to proudly wear those colors again!
  20. Rob Atwood (Trousdale County) is two time state champion, finished 5th his other year. He's only lost a couple matches in his high school career. He is a VMI commit.
  21. I don't believe so either, I know because I was out there for 8+hours on the sideline lol. I was pumped to get some of the celebration shots I got. Upperman will be back, Caine is a great Coach, he knew he needed to try to break the rhythm of PC Offense. Check out the photos here https://615preps.com/2023/12/02/gallery-pearl-cohn-vs-upperman/
