If you are averaging 50 points a game on offense, you should have a pretty good chance of winning. Just need to stop a couple of drives while on defense.

Camden had a good run of 12 years hosting the first round playoff game. I don't think there was another school in West Tennessee (any classification) that could say the same thing. Sad to see it end.

Most of Martin's population is based on their college enrollment who don't have high school aged kids that will go to high school there.

You are a sad person if you feel the need to belittle kids publicly....and if you had no idea you were doing it, then you have even bigger problems.

Camden offense is sputtering... I would like to see Camden win this one, but they will have to improve a bunch to make it happen.

The season is finally here! Early test for both teams....Senior class is loaded with talent. Offense has a legitimate passing game and isn't afraid to air it out. Defense has several ball hawks in the secondary when Waverly slings the ball. Special teams is solid. We may be the fastest team Waverly sees all year. Of course, I favor the Lions in a close one. Camden - 26 Waverly - 24

Camden hosts Bruceton-Hollow Rock at Camden Friday 8/12/16 in our annual Jamboree.

Camden has been District/Region champs 7 out of last 10 years....I don't mind being the underdog.

Correction....appears we are now traveling to Alamo to scrimmage Crockett....1900 kickoff.

Crockett County travels to Camden this Friday evening...

This Senior class also had one of the best Jr. High teams in a long while....lots of talent on the field this year.

Camden has won a District/Region Title 7 out of the last 10 years of playing. In that span, they have compiled a 81-30 record. Some seasons are ugly, but they still find a way to get it done. We have the weapons on offense this year. They are still making changes on defense. Our line is not big, but they make up for that in speed and strength. My biggest concern is depth. There are plenty of players on this years squad who will be playing both ways out of necessity. They will need plenty of breaks if they hope to make it to season end without many injuries. I like our chances of repeating as 6AA Champions. Glad Fairview is at Camden in week 10.
