Its odd because Oak Ridge has such great support and I think a lot of people just assume these things are being done.Too many times its the all about education people that block anything to do with sports.Even though these things wouldnt affect that part at all.We need the names of anybody blocking these things.Too many of us including myself wait for somebody else to do it.Lets put these people on blast and let them know how many care.Give me some names and Ill make some calls and spread the word

If I was a coach I would say wow how have they had that good of talent with all those problems.And I would think with even a few changes I could really have an elite program

I wont pretend to know the teaching laws.But what would stop school systems from adding new rules saying you cant teach at our school and coach at another school.Even if it didnt apply to teachers already under contract it could prevent this in the future.Kind of like how principals at Oak Ridge are not allowed to coach.

O yea Im with you 100%.Im just talking about loyalty in sports thing that has changed so much lately.From transfer portal in college to kids in HS going to play for a rival because they dont get their way one time.I was born a Wildcat and nothing couldve changed that.You dreamed of being part of the team and everything about being a Wildcat.Now so many people only care about personal stats and what somebody can do for them.

Bingo! So they have nonstop been trying to poach Oak Ridge guys and got a few but now South Doyle?Look forward to finding out more.They suck so bad nobody usually cares but dont piss off the wrong person.The drill sergeant has proved not to be very bright so nothing would surprise me.

Side note Im very jealous that our trip to state last yr was the worst weather and a rainy freezing cold day and night.Going to state is always great but wow today was perfect weather all day and just right for a football game.Again congrats and enjoy because these things are really hard to win

As long as Lowe is at Powell I hate to see them win.Hopefully now that he won a championship he will learn how to act and not make winning the only thing that matters.Saying that Im very happy for the 2 Powell guys on here OSnut and Knoxphoto.I hope yall enjoy it and have fun.Congrats to Page for fighting so hard.Much respect to these young guys who never quit.Runner up is a great season

Good fan support.Still have great talent.Runner up 15 yrs ago and last yr.At least 3 teams that was good enough to win it all in last 10 years.Not many places can compare to the ship on a Friday night.With the right staff they could win multiple chips and not a lot of schools can say that.

I hate to say it but Powell wins this one big.Page will have a lot of people cheering for them so I hope they can keep it close.

Its crazy to think how bad the Powell defense looked 1st game of yr compared 2 tonight.No doubt West got dominated upfront

The score looks bad for West but watching it was even worse.West got dominated from start to finish.I thought by looking at scores West was best team but after watching them tonight not sure they are top 5.Playing Alcoa close kind of tricked us all.

I remember people acting like Oak Ridge did something awful by losing to them.I dont know if because people had never heard of them or what but they was a really good team that wouldve done the same thing to anybody else that wouldve come out of the east last yr.It was just bad luck the yr Oak Ridge makes it back they had to play a team that good right b4 they have to go 6a .The twins are awesome and they had a safety/WR that was really good.Seems like his name was Brody or something with a B.I would like to see them play this yr.

Lol I know.I didnt even have to say a name and you knew who I was talking about.To tell you the truth I cant remember.Ive heard too many stories about who interviewed and who they wanted that if I throw a name out it might be wrong.What was bad was how he overruled committee knowing he was leaving for another job.Im gonna try and figure out who it was they wanted.For some reason I want to say it was Gaddis but maybe not

Whoever hires the next coach I have faith it will be a good one.They have a track record of hiring good coaches.I only know of one bad hire in football and rumor was the principal at the time went against who committee had picked then bolted.Other than that they do good in all sports hiring coaches.Good thing about a committee you have better chance of getting best guy instead of where one person might hire a friend

You could be right and to be fair Ive not watched one down of HC football.Just hard to imagine them having anybody like those twins.Not only are the really good but play the most impactful positions in HS football.They also had some really good players they may not be d1 but are really good HS players.

Yes.No team on the other side as good as Summit was last yr.

Yes he is staying as teacher.But I thought he was history teacher unless he changed to PE lately or Im wrong all together

I think the Price twins would be boom or bust.What they have done in CC is great but it is so different at Oak Ridge.They are both good dudes and I know they would love to coach Oak Ridge.One even lives a lot closer to Oak Ridge than CC unless he has moved in last couple of years.I always think way more of the coaches who can take a program to new heights than those who keep a good one going.Price twins have done that for sure
