boski - I will have to say after seeing both bands, hands down the better band is Pearl Cohn. I truly felt I was watching a college band (TSU). Not to take away anything from WC but PC was a "step" ahead. Best of luck the rest of the year to Maplewood and maybe we'll get a rematch.

boski, First let me apologize because according to this site if Maplewood and DL both win, Maplewood would be the #1 and DL the #2. I must have misinterpreted what I read on the TSSAA website. Second, as far as home vs. away games, it should reverse next year and you should have most (at least all of the district games you played away) at home. If not, you need to talk to the coach who schedules your non-district games.

Boski - I am going to have to side with likearock on this one. According to the TSSAA website the if teams have the same district records the first tie-breaker is overall wins. If both teams win this Friday DL would have 7 wins and Maplewood would have 6. The district title would go to DL.

Gocat - I don't know what team you support but it obviously isn't DL and I doubt it's PC. So either talk football and this game specifically or shut up!

Other than a wet field, this weather should be ok. All rain should be gone by early afternoon. We need a big turnout for this game. No I am not a meteorologist by I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night....

Anyone from Pearl Cohn know what kind of crowd to expect this Friday? Do they travel at all? Also, who are PC's star players and how will bad weather affect this game?

Should be fun tonight. Good football weather with a little "chill" in the air. I know that CPA will be fired up but I think the Mustangs run game and solid defense will be too much for the Lions to handle. I look for Officer and Bledsoe to have big games and the Musyang secondary to create problems for the CPA passing game.

What is your point Reddog? Are you part of the White's Creek team and know which players missed the game? I know they had all of their starting skill players on the field. The original post wasn't asking about Goodpasture or White's Creek. Let's focus on CPA vs Lipscomb. If your post is making reference to the fact you think Lipscomb will lose, then please tell us all why you think that.

These teams haven't played in a while (if ever). Don't know much about CPA this year. Lipscomb seems to be on a roll. Will this be a good game?
