  1. I think this one will be closer than ya'll think. I don't think Lexington has enough discipline to consistently stop Creek Wood's offense. Lexington has a lot of athletes to recover from some of their discipline problems. Whichever defense can stop the other offense more often will win. With Creek Wood finally healthy I expect them to come out with the upset victory in a close game coming down to a field goal.
  2. What is this talent you speak of? They have taken full advantage of what talent they do have which isn't a whole lot, not even close to what they had last year. I thought you'd be able to see that. I guess that's why your in the stands and not on the sidelines COACH
  3. Are you talking about the coaches that led Creek Wood to their first playoff victory, the ones that took a team from 1-9 to 9-1, the coaching that in my opinion has four coaches that could be or have been head coaches? Just want to make sure you know who's coaching ability your questioning, and I hope you realize that these coaches are the reason Creek Wood is in the playoffs since they went most of the year without their two star players.
  4. Creek Wood and Cheatham run a similar offense. Camden is going to have to recover quickly and learn from their mistakes. That is really important since Creek Wood is coming off their best performance this season and appears to be playing like everyone expected. This game will come down too defense. Whichever defense can perform the best will win this game.
  5. How do you know for a fact? You have already been proven wrong on one of those and I can assure you that I am not Coach Jones. If you had done any research you would have noticed that I have posted on here since October of last year and have mainly posted on Creek Wood. Coach Jones was not with Creek Wood last year so he more than likely would not post on Creek Wood. Good try though
  6. Completely agree on the refs being more concerned with the sidelines. TSSAA has come up with ridiculous sideline rules. The should only be two rules for the sidelines, Coaches off the field once the offensive team breaks huddle and the players on the sidelines should stand back at least three yards. That's how it is at the college and pro levels and they don't have any problems. These new rules make the officials take their eyes off the field and that's not good because they will miss part of a play and see a guy laying on the ground a certain way and assume he was blocked illegally and throw a flag.
  7. yes the only game Creek Wood has won this year all three played. Odom had a tweaked groin in that game. the only reason the waverly game was close was because of the refs. you may be that i'm like everyone else blaming games on the refs, but if you saw the poor calls in that game you would agree.
  8. The people at Creek Wood would not want a coach like fairview's. Fairview's offense is a joke. The only reason they have been successful is because they have had some really good players. As far as the game, Creek Wood was not outcoached. They may have been outplayed but not outcoached. The coaches at fairview have never outcoached anyone since they have been there. Creek Wood went from 1-9 one year to 9-1 the next I'm sure you think that has nothing to do with the coaching. If fairview ever went 1-9 their head coach would get fired and the fairview fan base would no longer support him. The main difference between the Creek Wood head coach and the fairview head coach is that people actually have respect for Creek Wood and their is not a coach in Tennessee that respects fairview's coach.
  9. At the begining of the year I would not have thought this would be much of a game. But with Creek Wood's poor performance to begin the season and the injuries to their only good players this should be a tough and tight game.
  10. no disrespect to East Hickman or East Robertson, but Fairview has played to of the worst teams in tennessee and Creek Wood had their best and some could argue their only good players out. If you want to base your opinion on fairview's good offense on those games you'll be really surprised when they play someone that is actually a playoff caliber team.
  11. All of Creek Wood's best athletes were out that game after the quarterback went down had Lee (QB) not been injured this is a much closer game. Had Odom and Tyson been playing the score is reversed.
  12. Creek Wood's kicker has kicked 5 field goals over 40 yards this year two of them being 47 yards. He had one friday that would have been good for about 55 yards. He also has not missed a kick however he has had one blocked.
  13. No disrespect to Waverly but had the referees make the correct calls on two fumbles by waverly that were not called fumbles and one non fumble called a fumble against Creek Wood this game would not have been as close. This was probably the worst refereed game i have ever seen. The ref counting the play clock stopped his counting so Waverly could get the play off. Creek Wood was very lucky to come out of this game with their first win. Waverly is a very tough team. I expect them to be very tough for everyone in the district.
  14. It appears according to this topic that Page is the team that should win because they played "better competition" during the season. Yes Creek Wood is under pressure but i assure you the players don't feel it. They go out every game like they were underdogs. Which is probably why they have been such a surprise to everyone this season. Coming off a 1-9 season last year usually means just getting to the playoffs reason to celebrate. The Red Hawks have exceeded any and all expectations the fans had for them. But to the seniors this season won't be a success unless they win state. That is the ultimate goal and i'm sure the Red Hawks are looking to start the playoffs on the right foot. I have personally been in full support of this school since it opened in 2002.
  15. I'm not sure that the strength of your schedule matters now. But i guess that is all ya'll have to brag about. Creek Wood is beatable as is every team. Creek Wood's offense has not been stopped this year and i don't think Page has the defense to do it. Creek Wood's defense has a few weak spots but Page doesn't have the offense to exploit them. Creek Wood will stop the run and will force the passing game to beat them. Page will be pressured a lot when they drop back to pass. Creek Wood is very disciplined and talented. Page may be able to slow Creek Wood but not stop them. I look for Creek Wood to try to put together long drives and allow the defense to be well rested between drives. I don't see Page getting up by two scores and if they do Creek Wood does have the offense and big play threats to come back. I don't look for Creek Wood to play the same way they did against Cheatham as the field won't be a mud bowl. Creek Wood's offense was very basic in that game. They kept to triple and some stack formations and kept the ball in their best players hands. Page really hasn't seen a whole lot of Creek Wood on film. The Cheatham film is worthless they will learn nothing from that. Hopefully the coaches have concentrated on the Camden film as that was the only one worth watching of the two traded. Camden is a very good football team and could go far in the playoffs. Just because they are 3a doesn't make them inferior to 4a teams. Giles and Spring Hill would have been good measuring sticks. I see Creek Wood defeating Spring Hill and playing Giles extremely close as they could probably match scores. If Creek Wood and Giles played it would have been a 3 point to touchdown score differential. I see Creek Wood winning this one by at least two touchdowns.
