So is there any information saying this about shelbyville? I haven't heard anything on this and just know that they have several players out due to the actions from last week. I haven't heard anything about a post season ban.

True. Summit really has an easy path till 3rd round. But, it still could hurt them with because they really haven't been battle tested since the beginning of the season. Whoever they would play in the third round will be battle tested right before they play summit.

The big question is will summit be ready to play because they have missed many games due to other teams forfeiting. Summit has only played two teams in the district and neither one of them were shelbyville or page. Will they be ready? They have only played one game in the month of October. Overall they should be healthy but will they be in game shape?

I agree. I believe Hillsboro would've beaten them. Crazy thing is now you never know from week to week who can play due to covid. It will be interesting to see how it gets handled. Already hate to see that about stewarts creek.

I would've been a good game to see how good both teams really are. Shelbyville will be tough if the games are close but if they are behind it will be interesting to see how they respond. Crazy thing is last year everyone thought the beech district was the better one and they almost got swept by this district. It will be interesting to see how it plays out this year.

Hopefully all that was involved have received their punishment. Others players who didn't get involved should be allowed to play. That would be a shame for a few to mess up a game for others

I agree on those first two. I do not think Shelbyville is capable of making it all the way. They are a solid team but not there yet. Give them one more year under the new coach and I believe they could have a better shot. Beech looks good this year and summit is solid as long as the two brothers are playing. I don't believe summits defense will be good enough to make it but they did pull through last year.

What teams are those from the west that you speak of. I know one is Henry County. They are always competitive and very well coached.

I can see that but I've seen some teams from both district play and the lower half of Beechs district seems to be more competitive and has better players all around. Lincoln only has the QB, Franklin county is young and has gotten better but not there yet, and Columbia just has a good defense but can't score. It will be interesting to see how that Summit district shakes out.

Summit and Shelbyville are the only two teams out of this district that will be able to play with teams in the playoffs. The others are not as competitive for playoffs. Page and the other teams are really down and playing a lot of young players. They should be better next year. Last year this district was better than the Beech district. That is not the case this year and most years. It will be interesting to see how this plays out for playoffs. Hate it for the players who don't get the chance to play some games but it could be worse.

So out of the district, it looks like Shelbyville, Lincoln, and Summit were the only teams that played against any real competition. Verdict is still out on Columbia playing against a very bad spring hill team. Maybe Dickson will be better but Columbia will find out what they can do when they play summit next week. Lincoln looked much improved than last year. I know shelbyville lost to the wildcats but Tullahoma is a really good team this year. Shelbyville will get back this week with their game. I know the battle of 840 with page and fairview is always fairly close so sometimes its hard to tell how good page will be this year. Don't think franklin county will have the year they was hoping. They maybe a year away.
