Well we will agree finally!A grown man (maybe) questioning a kids heart on a ball board is BS!
I have questioned past teams hearts on here. Even called out 4 different kids...But they were all mine

We'll keep him, Kid works hard and wants to be good, another year should make a big difference. The other QB was special but he also started for 3 years.
Can't compare the two anyway. C ran like a freakin Mack truck and had a decent arm last year. He ran with 600lb in front of him and 500lb behind him. This year's QB still has some growing to do, a totally different frame and a strong arm. A year will make a difference but it's all up to him how good he ends up. IF they lack in leadership, they shouldn't; Its been on full display the last few years.

Try not to lose by 50 against those yeller jackets. I got some spray to take home with you
Monday I heard you all would be down about 3 key players. That hurt

I was thinking the same. The intensity they had against Boone was not there the last two weeks.
Was awful weather but I've been to countless games like that and you have to step up every play.

Totally HATE it for the Bulldogs. . A bunch of tough kids for sure.
Me too. Seemed we didn't play to potential at times.

Man what happened to the Dogs. Did the weather hurt. Kind of surprised Hampton and Cloudland didn’t try to play yesterday
Didn't hurt those cats on a few big plays. Apparently they found a dry lane! Hate it for seniors and ole Levi

Biggest difference from last year was the line. There was no whipping last years line.
That and wasn't closing to the ball. Hard game in crappy weather.

Dang! I mean dang!

Big Hampton first down on 4th and 10

Hampton now down 27 to 16. It's not over yet but we're going to have to score twice
Weather not prohibiting that kid! Better find some traction and close to the ball and end zone

If this keeps going the same way EHS is in for a long night. However if there was a coach I'd be confident in turning it around in the 2nd half it'd be Witten
Score?

Coalfield deserved that goal line stand. We 110% fumbled that ball. No idea how the refs missed that call.
'mon creeker! Score? Lol

We’ll I’m not sure how skilled I am but if I was closer I’d hit ya up. I’m ready for a career change myself.
I've got work in Gatlinburg! Can't find people there either

Shoot I’ve got a license to drive those charter buses, if they’d let me I’d come get y’all.
Yea, well, difference is, you'll work! I'm having awful time finding skilled men. Turning down work left and right

Don’t think this affects the game in anyway, but Unaka fund raised to send the boys down on a charter bus tonight and the company called this morning and said they don’t have a driver for them now. Again, not game effective but do hate it for them, had to take the bus the cheerleaders are using for tonight and they will have to scramble to find a bus for the cheerleading team.
Sad time in this country...As long as 50% of people continue to vote for free handouts, gonna be hard to see change I'm afraid

Unaka is normally very very bad but this happened to be a rare good group. They will go back to being bad next year. In the early 90s, Unaka was actually a physical power run team. I remember the McCloud twins, Jamie turner, Michael burrow, and Jason buckles. Tough group of players I played against
They were ballers! Think the world of Burrow and Buckles. Buckles married an ole Hampton girl and their boy is a dang good round-ball player at Hampton...I've been privileged to coach around him. Class act

And we really appreciate it, we have a great game plan, now we just have to execute it without penalties or turnovers. Wish we could play on a dry field.
Shewww, 2" of rain makes for a long, rough night. Maybe it'll track slower, and be dryer than thinking. Praying no injuries

Watching y’all against us either year sure wasn’t much help gauging how good you were either. Seen both versions several times both years, both were very talented groups just in different ways. Offensively you seem just as good or maybe a touch better to me but for different reasons than last year. Your defense this year is the real difference between the two. Don’t know if you’ll tote a gold ball back up the mountain or not this year but I’ll be pulling for you until you’re done regardless of when that is.
You've seen em more than me this year. For the last 20 years I've put business on the back burner and was time to get to it. Plus, if I can get this grandboy on Fridays, I'll choose to play in the den floor everytime Lol

Yeah several have aged a year and much better at tackling, don't have to depend on one guy to make every tackle. I'd say we have 3 with near 100 tackles, makes a big difference.
FOR SURE!

And we didn't run the QB against Boone. Hard to compare different teams, this bunch is not near as big in the line but we are overall quicker to the ball.
That's my point. Basically lined up and just ran at Boone last year. It was a horrible experience all the way around Lol. Yes, QB ran once and attempted one pass if I remember correctly. These boys are definitely faster than they were last year and honestly, Levi is even a bigger force now! Geno is the beast I told him he'd be and your FS isn't having to come up and play LBR most of the time making stops because the speed is better. A years age does wonders!

Well just keep at it, I’m sure you’ll find a way to increase your level of disagreement with me
I did not watch the Oneida game. Not a single snap, didn’t need to see that one. I have however watched a few other Hampton games this year. I agree their QB last year was a very talented athlete. So were his brothers when they played. This Hampton team, in my opinion, is overall a better team especially defensively. Just my take just as you have yours. Have you watched much Hampton the last 2 years other than the 2 Oneida beat downs?
Yes, a year later and these boys are better on D than they were last year. We were a step behind on D vs good receivers but maturity has helped.
No way you can compare the two teams based on their games vs Boone. For one, last year we played in a 4-qtr freakin monsoon at Boone. The O you saw in last year's playoffs wasn't even set up until AFTER the Boone game. IMO the biggest thing that hurt us on D last year was we had those 3 games canceled due to covid or we may have been better prepared to stay closer with a team like WV.

Butchie was first class. We have texted a few times since he stepped away, but it's sure not the same on here without him.
