  1. I agree with most of your post however how many guys put in the work to be great. How many guys do extra stuff on their own. Most players in high school go to practice and that is all they do with their sport. The great ones have a drive. I don't praise people until they WORK for it.
  2. Just saw this story on unapproved website.Unapproved Website but I am not a member so I could not read the whole thing here it is. Tennessee's Mt. Cody by Carlos Younger To say that McMinnville (TN) Warren County High School junior offensive/defensive tackle Cody Robinson (6-foot-4 310 lbs) is a big man is an understatement. Put that with his athletic ability, and you have a D-1 football prospect. [details] Big money this is for you.
  3. Big money why are you already questioning the hire. It doesnt matter what they payed him. I drive a fine vehicle but not because somebody gave it to me. It involved a magic word called WORK. Give him a chance. The playeres their better go to work. Their is 22 spots open. Well really probably 21 dont see anyone challenging Cody.
  4. I dont follow you big money. Whats wrong with big time football. Why do you keep trashing Cody. I think a lot of peoples problem is they dont want anyone to achieve more than they did. Good day to all.
  5. I do not live in WC. However I do believe lots of school neglect to help their players. As far as winning and loosing goes, say you are a school teacher and you have ten students and six fail and must retake your class then you are not successfull at what you do. If you make products and out of ten six are broken you are not very good at what you do. In our jobs we have standards. Why should'nt our football coaches. A 4-6, 5-5 season is not acceptable. I am not bashing WC or any coaches there. I am simply trying to state the facts.
  6. I don't get where you are coming from. But oh well.
  7. Very nice Highlights. I wish I could do all that with my computer. I barely know how to use it. The video games sound like most teenagers. The art of knowing how to workout PROPERLY is almost gone that is a very special thing to have as a high school athlete. That and a great work ethic will take you a long way.
  8. Is Cody going to any camps or combines this year?
  9. Let me clear some things up. First off I will explain the clearing house is a group of NCAA officials who check high school athletes grades, test scores, etc to check eligibility. Also it checks about you individually for a lack of better words a “background check”. There is NO NEED to register for it till the spring or end of your JUNIOR year. An athlete can take unofficial visits and the other things allowed in your junior year with out being registered. Official visits cannot be taken until classes for your senior year begin. However You Must be registered in order to take an OFFICIAL visit. I hope this helps
  10. I agree with Buc55 and bburch's post. Does anyone know what Cody’s top schools are?
  11. Big Money, I cannot speak for fball 123 or any of the other posters. However I can promise you the one who started this thread is no kinfolk nor buddy of Mr. Robinson. I have never met the kid. However I hope to meet him this season. I’m like you big money ,I have forgot a lot of football over my years.
  12. Like I said earlier I have followed high school football for a long time and this a special player. Who deserves recognition.
  13. I have followed Tennessee High School Football for many years. Occasionally a very talented kid will come along. Cody is one of them. I decided to research him after a friend told me to check him out. After seeing his highlight tape, he truly is something special. Here is the link to the highlight tape. Check him out and see what you guys think.
