That grapevine is quick and mostly reliable. But yes she did make the decision to quit the team. She did so she would have more time to work on pitching. With the travel ball scheduale she has this summer she will need to be on top of her game. And thats not going to happen sitting the bench. Unicoi co. has a few girls that can still sling a ball so they will be fine.

You guy's are on top of this!! Just thought I would Give her a little praise without her knowing who it was. (But that didn't work.) She has a record of 12-0 with a ERA of 0.083. She is my DD and I'm very Proud.

What about the freshman from Unicoi Co. (kacy Silvers)? Heard she threw a Perfect game in the NFS tournament

Unicoi Co. May have the answer to both questions. Woods as a Junior and Silvers a Freshman with alot of time in the circle in some big tournaments.

I think I saw her in pigeon forge in the fall playing 16/18u Looked like she had some junk. Thats all Unicoi Co. needs is another good pitcher.
