Come out to Finley Stadium this Saturday at 3:00 pm for the annual Blue & Gold Spring Game. Free hotdogs, popcorn, and Coca-Cola products will be provided to the first 500 fans in attendance. There will be plenty of prizes and giveaway items, as well. A FREE Kids Clinic will be hosted by the UTC football coaches before the game. Registration begins at 1:00 on the west concourse (next to the pavilion), and the clinic will start at 1:15. Don't wait another five months to see the action of Mocs Football! Thanks for all of your suggestions! We will definitely take them to heart. For a quick update: we are currently working on having a match in the First Tennessee Pavilion next to Finley Stadium, just for a little change of scenery. Also, the coaches are doing a better job of scheduling matches around the local high school wrestling schedule so the events do not conflict with one another.

Thanks to all of you for supporting the Mocs throughout the 2009/10 wrestling season, and helping them win another Southern Conference title. The atmosphere at all of our home matches was fantastic as fans packed into Maclellan Gym to cheer on their favorite athletes. Naturally, we would love for this support to continue throughout the 2010/11 season. The Mocs can move one step closer to another SoCon title this Saturday if they are able to take down the Appalachian State Mountaneers. UTC is currently 3-0 and in first place in the Southern Conference after beating UNC Greensboro two Sunday's ago. Two wrestling teams undefeated in SoCon play will battle for the conference lead as UTC (7-6, 2-0) faces UNC Greensboro (3-5, 2-0) during this Sunday's "Gold Rush." There will be an autograph session following the match where you can meet your favorite UTC wrestlers and coaches.
