I guess you consider yourself a "Real Man" by calling out a high school wrestler. From your post it seems that you are the only one crying. I apologize if I hurt your feelings.

If he had called it stalling, then I would not have asked the question. I am still not sure why it wasn't called. The fr wrestler did the exact same thing but ref stalemated it in ot. What if the fr guy got the takedown after the stalemate would this have been fair to the mccallie wrestler. You stated that the officials were directed to only call stalling if it is painfully obvious . So is there stalling, obvious stalling and painfully obvious stalling? I was not aware of the different levels of stalling. Is the answer to my question that the refs were told to swallow their whistles unless it is painfully obvious that a wrestler is stalling?

Maybe they didn't want the Ryan fans to get close the the official from the 160 lbs match

After reading the post and reviewing the video, I have one question and I hope one of the officials can help me out. If I understand the call,the FR wrestler was called for stalling in the third period for not improving his position after his shot. If this is the case then why was he not called for stalling in overtime for the same reason? If you watch the video, there looks to be no difference in the shot in the third period and the one in overtime. I appreciate any insight that one of you guys that understands the rules could give me.

After Jack wins state, he is planning on moving to Nashville to help his true love the purple Irish wrestling team. He will organize the hospitality room, run the clock against MBA, and play the bagpipes before all the home matches. I heard that he can really blow those pipes. So please can we have a big group hug tonight. To my brothers to the west will they finally get to eat a piece of that cake they brought to the state tournament in 2009 that said congratulations state champs? Also, do you think that the December 17th Middle TN Grand Championship tournament will be over before the start of the state duals this afternoon?

I have heard about the Ryan invitational for years but had never gone to it. I thought that I would go and share my experience with coacht. As I arrived at the tournament, I was first greeted by Bear Cat Brown. I asked what he was doing and he told me that he didn’t have time to talk that he needed a pen and paper. I obliged him and proceeded to follow him into the hospitality room. I saw him trading recipes and phone numbers with the purple mommies (only the divorced ones). After a few minutes, I asked if he was going to stay and he said no that he had gotten all he needed and had to get back to C town because he was going to dinner with an old friend. I asked him who he was having dinner with and he told me he didn’t know his name only his phone number. It seems that this old friend only communicates with BCB by texting. I also asked him how the adoption of Jack by Moseley and Marchetti was going and he said great that he should be wrestling for the purple Irish next year. As I told BCB goodbye, I noticed a Sheriff’s Department truck out back. I thought at first it was to escort some of the Ryan fans out of the gym but noticed some sharp shooters mats on the truck. I asked the deputy what was up and he told me that they were going to store them here. I thought that strange until he explained that he knew the mats would be safe here because the Sharp Shooters or Kennedy would never come here to wrestle on them. I then saw Dan McGugin ( MBA’s football coach) and Ricky Bowers (Ensworth’s football coach). I asked if they were here to see the wrestling and they responded absolutely not! We are here to make sure none of our football players are wrestling. I proceeded to tell Ricky that Ensworth is not in the tournament and he said that he wanted to make sure that they were not watching the matches because he doesn’t want to even think about wrestling. I next saw the CBHS crowd in the stands. In the middle of them I saw a frozen cake that said congratulations champions. I thought it was odd until I remembered that I saw that same cake at last year’s state duals. It was behind the CBHS cheering section. At that time, I thought to myself wonder what they will do with this cake if they don’t win state. Well my question was answered when I saw it at the Ryan tournament. I guess they will have to put it back on ice until the state tournament again. Well, that just about sums up my observations at the Ryan tournament and I saw some great matches and I look forward to going back next year.

Star Raider, yes that Nick Gulas. I will be at the matches this weekend with Tojo. He is working security and if anyone gets out of line he will throw his wooden shoe at them.

I have enjoyed reading coacht for many years however I have never posted. I knew many people were concerned about BCB so I felt compelled to post a sighting of BCB at the Williamson Co. Ag. Center. I went there yesterday to check out the facilities. It seems that the Ag center had a prize bull competition yesterday and there was bull stuff better known as BS everywhere on the area floor. The manager of the place said that he needed someone who could really fling the BS around in order to have it all cleaned up by Friday.He also said that after reading coacht he knew he had the right guy. The Manager thought that BCB would have it done in time however he had a back up plan of bringing in Bucklateral just incase he needed someone else to help throw the BS around. So everyone calm down quit calling, texting and tweeting BCB has a lot of work to do.
