  1. Great recap. Real class was shown by both teams on the field. I want to also thank the Webb decision makers who allowed the ECS team and community to support their players on the field for what will be for many, their last game. You were gracious in giving us all the time we needed to console, congratulate and cry with one another. You kept the lights on for us until the end and we appreciate it.
  2. Neither Webb nor ECS "moved down" as you suggest. They "chose" not to play up based on their enrollment classification set by the TSSAA. For example Powell and Knox West are not "choosing" to play up with 6A nor should they with their enrollment. If you really want to get it right, get rid of all classifications like it used to be.
  3. Spurrier was close and Mr Sheppard is a good guess too. Houston's current Coach Wolf was the Ridgeway coach that rang up 11 on CAK.
  4. For those that do go way back you may be familiar with who the Ridgeway coach was at that time.....and the 11-2 score won't be a surprise.
  5. St. Agnes 2 St. George's 1
  6. from the commercial appeal newspaper St Mary's vs ECS: http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2010/sep/20/ecs-edges-st-marys-1-0-d2--west-region-matchup/
  7. The Commercial Appeal's Top 5 looks pretty good. Others that may creep in the top 5 during the year include Briarcrest, St. Mary's, ECS and White Station. GIRLS SOCCER TOP 5 School / Record / 1. St. Agnes / 0-0-0 / 2. Houston / 1-0-0 / 3. St. George's / 1-0-0 / 4. Collierville / 0-0-0 / 5. St. Benedict / 1-0-0 /
  8. From what I saw in the warm-up game before Memphis played at Mike Rose, ECS should be a contender as they beat Hutchison 4 - 1.
  9. .....and to Matthew Sims who was named Scholar-Athete of the Year from St. George's. Great soccer player as well as basketball and golfer and headed to University of Michigan.
  10. Which 3 that aren't on here would you recommend?
  11. Stevie outside of the teams in the division they must play, ECS beat Kingsbury (state qualifier); tied Collierville (state qualifier); tied White Station (state qualifier); and beat CBHS 2-1. The only state qualifier from their region they didn't play was MUS. Please supply their weak schedule for next year didn't know it was out yet.
  12. Predict Farragut, Centennial, Hendersonville and Collierville will advance Collierville over Bearden? Thats bold.. But i hope so! You're right I don't know what I was thinking. I've edited my prior post.
  13. I'll take a stab and say Farragut, Chattanooga Christian, MUS and St. Georges.
  14. Got to go with Boyd, CAK, CCS and Kingsbury to advance.
