Here is an update on the players that I am aware of: Division I Junior Nolan Vihlen (CBHS) has been named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the third week of the season, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. Vihlen averaged a combined .656 face-off win percentage versus No. 16 Drexel and Fairfield for the week. He has played in all 11 games for #11 ranked Villanova (8-3). Freshman Alex Baird (Ravenwood) has played in 9 of Mercer's 12 games, starting in 7. He has 8 goals and no assists with a .500 shooting %. He also has 4 gb, 5 turnovers and 1 caused turnover. Mercer is 1-11 in their 1st year at the D1 level. Freshman Franklin Martin (MUS) scored his 1st career goal for Air Force (4-6). He has played in 5 of the team's 10 games and has 1 gb and 1 turnover. Sophomore Johnny Carson (MUS) has played in 5 of Dartmouth's 9 games. He has 1 assist and 3 gb. Dartmouth is 4-5. Sophomore Barry Hillyer (MUS) has played in 5 of Jacksonville's 11 games. He has 1 assist, 5 gb, 2 turnovers and 2 caused turnovers. Jacksonville is 4-7. Freshman Brad Davis (Ravenwood) has played in 4 of Bellarmine's 12 games and has 3 gb and 3 turnovers. Bellarmine is 4-8. Freshman T.J. Kemp (McCallie) has played in three of 5th-ranked UNC's 10 games. He has 1 gb and 2 turnovers. UNC is 7-4. Division II Sophomore Kile Garrett (MBA) has played in 8 of Mars Hill's 13 games. He has 2 goals and 1 assist. 1 gb, 1 caused turnover. His shooting percentage is .200. Mars Hill is 10-3 and is currently ranked 12th. Division III Senior Chris Cahill (MBA) has scored 13 goals and has 12 assists with a .228 shooting % for 7-5 Gettysburg. He also has 22 gb, 18 turnovers, and 6 caused turnovers. Freshman Patton Watkins (McCallie) has taken over as the starting goalie for #1 ranked Tufts (9-0). He has started 3 games and seen action in 5. He has a .631 save percentage with almost 9 saves/game. Freshman George Curtis (MBA) has played in 7 of #7 Middlebury's 8 games. He has 6 gb.

Johnny Carson (MUS/Dartmouth) Played in 3 games as freshman. Did not play in 1st game this year, but is on roster. Barry Hillyer (MUS/Jacksonville) Played in both games this year as a soph middie. Played in all 13 games as a freshman with 1 goal and 2 assists. Franklin Martin (MUS/Air Force) On roster has not played. James Cupo (McCallie/Presbyterian) Started 6/10 games as freshman F/O middie. No longer on roster. Charlie Graff (McCallie/Vermont). Signed with Vermont in 2009 but did not play in 2010 and is not on roster. Chase Hayes (McCallie/Bryant) played in 1 game at midfield. Now a senior. Played 3 games as a junior and 4 as a sophomore. Scott Hughes (McCallie). Signed with Air Force. Did not play after suspension. Now playing for Centre College in Kentucky. TJ. Kemp (McCallie/UNC) has not played. Parker Mincy (McCallie). Signed with Presbyterian but is attending Roanoke College and is not on lacrosse roster. Ben Cullen (Houston/Air Force). On Air Force roster last year. No longer on roster. Chris Cahill (MBA/Gettysburg) Senior co-captain. Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention Preseason All-American. Moving from midfield to attack this year. 4 goals and 2 assists in 3 games this year. 2010: Enjoyed a strong season in his first year as a starter...Earned All-Centennial Conference honorable mention...Led the Bullets in assists (25) and was third in points (43)...Scored 18 goals, including a career-high four at Hampden-Sydney and against Haverford in the Centennial Conference championship game...Has seven multi-assist games.

BARRY HILLYER (MUS) JACKSONVILLE MIDFIELD: (Played in all 9 games so far, 2 assists, 6 GB) BEN CULLEN (Houston) AIR FORCE: Played in 3 of 9 games, 2 goals on only 3 shots, 1 assist. TOM JACKSON (McCallie) PENN DEFENSE: 1 game played (of 11) CHASE HAYES (McCallie) BRYANT ATTACK: 2 games played (of 11) JOHNNY CARSON (MUS) DARTMOUTH MIDFIELD: 1 game played (of 8) By the way, Chris Cahill has 14 goals and a team-leading 20 assists in 13 games at D3 Gettysburg.
  4. Cahill was an outstanding player. I have heard that he was interested in Notre Dame but never got an offer. I wonder if ND regrets it now.
