Predictions for this season?

Lady Eagles won whenever it mattered most, and showed people what they are really made of! I look for Oakdale to take the region championship.

OBVIOUSLY, nobody was on here talking about Justin Beiber cause he has NO part in this. I believe Wartburg got the win cause they work as a team, as Coalfield works with one or two kids that can play ball.

In East Tennessee.

The only pitcher I know of for Wartburg is Robinson. He's good for his age, but other than him, I know of nobody. And Oliver Springs, I don't really know. Last year they had many seniors that were goodd pitchers, but this year I don't see many that are gonna be good pitchin' wise for Oliver Springs.

Jordan may have averaged more points than anyone else, but you get her frustrated or take her out of the game and Coalfield is left with 1, maybe 2 other players that can shoot and play ball. Everytime I watch Coalfield play, I think of this... You can Jordan frustrated and under her skin early in the game, and keep it that way and she's stopable. She may of had more points, but she's not the MVP of all district teams.

Oliver Springs won't be as good as the past years. They lost most of their key players and returning with only a few that had playing time. I see Wartburg and Oakdale being in the top four, but who else? Oliver Springs and Coalfield?

I will be turning 17 in March. I played softball my freshman year and had two ACL surgeries which have put me out of sports since then. I'm now a junior. I am looking for a team to play for this summer. I can play anywhere, but I prefer Shortstop, Catcher and 3rd base. Tonight Oakdale Lady Eagles play against the Oneida Lady Indians for 3rd place as Wartburg Lady Dawgs play Coalfield Lady Jackets for the championship. Hopefully we will see the Lady Eagles bounce back from the disappointing loss against Wartburg, and the Lady Dawgs take over the Lady Jackets and go undefeated in the District Tournament with upsets! Maybe if the Lady Eagles bounce back from the loss and continue onto another streak, they will go far.

Oakdale's coach is a very determined man and last year having a team that did not make the district tournament for the first time in like 13 years really upset him and he's willing to get his team this year back to where they belong and I see it happening and many people being surprised with what talent oakdale has!

I don't see Oneida, Coalfield and Oliver Springs bein' high up. Oneida lost everyone. I heard Tyler Walls from Coalfield is not playing and that will effect them. Oliver Springs lost many key players. Oakdale has many returning players and they will work and get to where they belong and will be the ones to upset a lot of people.

District Tournaments are all about upset, and so far we've seen two big ones. Personally, I think Wartburg getting the win over Oakdale made the Lady Eagles realize that just because their regular season record was better than everyone else's that they have to be ready for the unexpected. Lady Eagles are the best team this year, but they are to take what comes at them and be ready for the unexpected. Trashing the refs do nothing good for you or the team. Take the win or the loss and learn from it. Nobody is perfect, and people make mistakes. Refs were trained to do this job, and they will call it like it's supposed to be called. Oliver Springs girls are completely done, losing last night is what put them out. The boys play at Wartburg tomorrow, and will definitely be put out and completely done as well. In the Oliver Springs community, there will be plenty upset but you have to have your team together as one to go far, and nothing goin' wrong in the locker room, if you know what I mean.

As we seen tonight, Oliver Springs got put out in the first round by Wartburg; which is a big upset I think. Past years, Oliver Springs has won the district tournament, and I think that is why Coach Davis worked his team to get this BIG victory. What does everyone think about this game and the rest of the tournament?

Considering how far Oakdale went last year, and they didn't lose anyone, they will remain the same and I think they can come out on top.
