Cheatham County must have caught on fire if they were down by 20 and come back to win. Sure the pros overcome those deficits consistently, but high school ball? Really? Usually it would indicate that key personnel went missing due to fouling, injury, etc. or the head coach got tossed or something along those lines to give up a 20 point lead. No excuse for that. Blame to go all around for the Patriots. Much credit to the Cubs.

Going out on a limb for this quirky season, Heritage and Harpeth will be in the Dist. finals. Heritage's game against Greenbrier was an anomaly. Keys for Heritage, Eddings hitting enough threes to open defense up, Oskin staying in the game out of foul trouble, and the team playing together and for each other. Wouldn't hurt to get Petrone back too. They're hard to beat when that's happening. Only seen it once this year at White House.

Dang, Mo-town has to play TC 2X in a week. Terrible scheduling by both schools. That will be a wasted week for both.

Ashton Oskin will be a PTPr this year. Don't count him out.

WH is the pre-season favorite no doubt. Have they gained the maturity that was their achille's heel? Most likely IMO. The window of opportunity is wide open this year for them to finally get that District championship. Heritage played great summer ball from what I heard. I expect them to field three strong All-District performers. Shooting will be their weakness unless somebody found a shot this summer. PG injured in FB should be back and is one of the 3. Short bench as well. They could challenge WH for the championship with their very strong frontcourt.

Great game by both teams. Worth the 7 bucks the T$$AA charged. Patriots didn't ###### up and kept it close. The 7 foot Cobra was hard to overcome. Whites Creek is solid and gets mucho props from me. The Patriots end the remarkable season only one win away from Sub-state. This squad is certainly one that won't be forgotten.

East Lit., er, I mean East Nashville wins by 9! Patriots will be waiting on them!

I think Heritage understands now that they can compete with the 10AA. I look for them to be comfortable at their home away from home and will challenge the Snakes. Patriots won't have it easy, and may get blown out, but I see them winning by 5 in this game. Petrone has this team focused and they are collectively "in it to win it". I know for sure the Heritage fans will be there along with a few Blue Devils and the Cobras will come empty handed. Save the 10 for 10 telecast for after the game and come on out and watch the Patriots move on to the Regional championship game!

HERITAGE PATRIOTS BABY, THAT'S WHO! TOLD YA SO.

Heritage cashes that regular season and district tournament championship in on the first round of the regional tournament. Due to those accomplishments, they get the weakest team in 10AA at home. Pearl Cohn will be athletic but I believe that this Patriot team is not done yet. They have shown that they can play defense, get out and run, and shoot the three well on any given night. I expect it to be a challenge but I believe that if they keep turnovers to a minimum, shoot better than 70% on their free throws, and rebound well, they should move on to the 2nd round with ease. Don't be surprised if Heritage takes this one by a large margin, say 12+. Greenbrier will put up a fight for 3 minutes then collapse. Cheatham County will put up a fight for 6 minutes then collapse. White House can pull off the upset against Maplewood. Depends on Bo's health and ability to play. White House will have to be red hot from trey land and shoot a lot of FT's to pull this off, but for some gut feeling I think they will. White House wins by 5. Since I'm not a player and can look ahead, wouldn't it be sweet if White House and Heritage met in the finals?! Sweet!

Heritage wins by 12, White House will be up by 10 at halftime.

They have only been outscored three times this year. A third victory over the Blue Devils would be salt in the wound and leave no doubt. Hey, wait, they could meet in the Regions too! Patriots stretchin' that head to head series lead over the Devils out this year.

Petrone has loosened his stoic grip on this team a little this year and you see from their record that they are comfortable getting out and running with anyone. That could help them next week as they encounter another level of athletes in the Regional tournament. But for this one, the District, you will see them win by defensive rebounding and getting out and going. If they don't have a high percentage lay up attempt, they have pulled it out and run Petrone's attack offense. You saw it in both of their victories over White House. Easy drives, slicing through that leaky zone, and making hardly challenged lay ups. If Upton gets hot, watch out. If the Patriots go down it will be because of foul trouble and missed FT's. TRUTH. haha. I really don't see that happening. Shout out to Johnny Showtime on the 10 for 10 network (FB) for streaming awesome broadcasts. BDP to you bud.
