The gyms definitely vary and I am sure there are those that are, as you stated "non educated opportunists" but in order to have the title of a Crossfit gym, they must have Crossfit certified coaches that have a wealth of knowledge in strength, endurance, mobility, flexibility and explosive training. You must have had a bad experience or are uneducated yourself in the Crossfit realm. What I was alluding to in the earlier post was not necessarily at a gym Crossfit work out but tailored workouts targeting Metabolic Conditioning, strength training, joint mobility, flexibility and explosive power. The workouts posted on the websites are more for the generic population but all of the exercises and workouts can be tailored to make an exceptionally fit wrestler. Crossfit offers every aspect of functional fitness for any and every lifestyle. I was just wondering if they have made their way into any wrestling programs regime. As I said before, it has made a huge difference.

Sorry but those are not the actualities of the match. There was no grabbing his face nor punching him. He did not grin at the coach either. This was a classic case of someone that was being dominated. From the neutral position Dickson continued to go backwards. He was pushed out of bounds two times. Both times the Dickson wrestler put on a great acting job and fell backwards. The fans were the ones that caused all the commotion. Also, the coach is not teaching anything dirty. The grin or whatever you stated never happened. You should get the facts of the match straight before you try to discredit another program by posting inaccurate information. Dickson propaganda shame on you! Next time, take your pictures from the stands.

Regarding the coaches agreement to wrestle their JV, based on Brentwood being "spent" or whatever. Devils advocate here, What if they would have beaten Frankiln and made it to the finals? Then what? I agree with Knight. Should have wrestled as normal and stomped them.

Some good matches here. Three ranked wrestlers wrestling in the 170# class with #1 ranked Matlock, #3 ranked Dickerson and #4 ranked Crane all wrestling 170#. Clarksville had a good showing in the Chat area. Were there team tally's for the tournament?
