  1. 1. So who are the 4 seniors on the team? The Dodd twins, Macy Wright, and ... ???? 2. I don't think you'll be back just as strong next year... but I do believe you'll be back STRONGER next year.
  2. Congrats to a determined CPA team. They came back. Thompson did a good job on Goodman, too. The Lady Rebels only loose senior Macy Wright. They loose the Dodd twins and the Stephenson girl but they didn't start this year.
  3. But Goodman only went down with 30ish seconds left in the game... She'll be fine.
  4. Don't worry GC... you're in the know. The others are partisan haters. That does NOT mean I agree with your CPA pick... but I respect it. CPA is a great team based on their season and tournament play, true. But the Lady Rebs are talented, ready, and focused. You're right about fouls... and add to that... turnovers. Win those and you win the game.
  5. Excuse me? McMinn Central is the "easy" side of the bracket???? What state do YOU live in?
  6. This, sir, is an excellent question. Why ISN'T Goodman and/or Macy Wright a Ms. Basketball finalist??
  7. YEP, District 13AA... sorry (I knew that).
  8. I can assure you that the Obion Central coach and team are NOT overlooking Stone Memorial... not sure about a few fans... but the Lady Rebels takes them very, very seriously. I do, however, believe that Obion Central has the talent to win... not sure about 20, though. BTW, the Lady Rebel is good, no doubt... but they are not to so bad on defense, either. Did you see how they shut down McMinn's Masengil and held her to 13 points before she fouled out? Stone Memorial is a serious and creditable team... and could be a threat to the Lady Rebels trip to Saturday. Just watch tomorrow!
  9. I also read about that game and I didn't read anywhere that the Bledsoe coach (Susan Warden, I believe) was a whiny cry baby... at least in the papers. I hope you guys kick some butt next year!
  10. Dude, call it what you want.. any coach who blames the officials for a state tournament game is a sore sport. He owes the TSSAA an apology and the fellow competitors an apology.
  11. McMinn Central has a very competitive team and was a good match for Obion Central yesterday. Their weakness is that sore sport, cry baby coach... Morgan something... I mean did you read the Knoxville News Sentinal today? "Patience no virtue for McMinn Central; Coach says officiating the difference" ... What a "great" influence this guy is to his team. Here is the article... http://bit.ly/wIJi3k I'm glad he's on the other side of the state.
  12. GC, I always believed you! I'm from there. NW Tn has some really tough, great teams. Sometimes it's hard for them to to get to state even when they are in the top 8... because the competition is so good, so excellent, and so fun in District 14. GC, Dyersburg, OCCHS, Covington, Westview... all are generally excellent teams. We're all just lucky that way.
  13. Two words... Wright Goodman... need I say more?
  14. Maybe the TWO players and the other three with the subs will be good enough? What do you think???
