  1. Yes i heard this too. He recently moved to the 109 area and is indeed zoned for WCHS. His name is AJ Long... I too agree with the competition level between 1A and 5A. Playing 1A ball is definately going to hurt him.
  2. These standings are exactly right. WC and beech are by far the best two teams in this district.
  3. 1. Wilson Central... thats all that matters
  4. i agree with this very much. Mr. Brandon is by far the best shooter in the district. he has been known to be a little streaky but he's been hot so far this season. i had the privelage to watch him play at antioch last and he was on fire. McClung cant hold his jock.
  5. If station camp finishes third in the district i will buy you a steak dinner.
  6. I'll give it to you, Chowbay is a good player. Central did a good job slowing him down last year switching between Brandon and Oldham, both EXREMELY good defenders. But fraizer?! Can i please see his stats from last year because i gurantee there were people playing WWBA with better. And Shepard is a solid post player, however he is no match for St. Louis (WC's big man). St. Louis is 6'6" and moves very well.
  7. You can line up over the center yes but you can't hit the snapper with his head down on field goals or punts either one. Most teams stack someone roughly 5 yards off the ball and block him when he releases.
  8. Good coaching? Joins, from Beech, has extremely underachieved with the talent he's been given in the past few years. They're extremely sloppy and unorganized. Mount Juliets coach, Allen, had to bring in Coach Keil from Lebanon a distrcit rival just to get some help... what does Memphis or Knoxville teams have to do with WC's district play. they wont have to take care of them until they get to the state tournament.
  9. You got that right. Wilson Central has the ability to run the board in district play this year. What shirt size are you? Ill make sure to get you a state tournament shirt when WC plays in the Murphy Center.
  10. Central would've easily won their region game if TSSAA hadn't suspended their leading scorer/district tournament MVP. they competed with clarksville northeast without him and still had a chance to win the game... yes a few of the staff did leave but in my opinion the replacements fit the system even better than they did and should be a big help.
  11. The fact they're able to run so many defenses makes it difficult for teams to prepare for them. I'd say they were pretty good at it last year makin it to region, farther than any other team out of the 9-AAA district... the fact they return their top 8 players might help a little as well.
  12. Is there anyone in the 9-AAA district or the entire region that can stop the wilson central boys this year?
  13. Station camp has been, and will be, a sloppy, uncoached football team until there is a coaching change for the bison. only talent on this team is at the running back position, #5.

Keep your eyes on Wilson Central this year. Head coach Anthony Ford has turned things around over there and is running a much better program. With help from Coach B. Howard and A. Schmeltzer the wildcats pose a real threat to anyone who is on their schedule this upcoming season. Although they will be fairly young and lack depth in their rotation, they have great leadership form their centerfielder, Devin Fish. I wouldn't want to hit the to centerfield, this kid can track just about anything down, not to mention how well he swings the bat. They have one of the best high-school catchers i've ever seen play, Dylan Prendergrast. He has an unbelievable arm, i would not reccomend trying to steal on this kid. One of the youngsters to watch will be first-basemen Jacob Wood. Both Prendergrast and Wood will be players to wacth for the next two years.
