This outstanding collection of some of SMITH COUNTYS GREATEST will go into this game with the same mentality as if it were a PLAYOFF game! Macon countys alumni couldn't cut the mustard when they were in highschool, what makes them think they can handle the Maynordaise NOW?!?! Here's my prediction....... by halftime those TIGGERS will be screaming "HOLD THE MAYNORDAISE!!!" but we will just keep stuffing their faces with it!!!! GO BIG OWLS!!! LMBO

Hey Glover, you seem to be computer savy. Is there any way I can hide another members posts? This is directed toward you Basil. Why are you even on this board? Anyways, how do you guy's think the young line from last year is gonna pan out this year. I've heard we are getting close to 300 lb average across the front five, complimented with a Big Athletic TE. Sounds to me like the running game is gonna be pretty solid with those BIG heavy's and our DEEP stable of RB's!!! Personally I can't wait for some other coach to crowd the box on us just for Coach Maynord to give SCURLOCK the Go ahead to STRETCH the field with that big arm!!! Anyway you slice it it's gonna be hard to keep them OWLS out of the endzone, especiaaly with the BIG MAN calling the shots!!!

Sorry buddy, I can tend to be a little over passionate at times. Especially if we are talking Braves, Vols or Cowboys, but when we are talking OWL FOOTBALL I'm full throttle all day. I've enjoyed reading this site for years, but never knew how to join. I finally got my nephew's son to set me up an account. (A lifetime of farming leaves one ill equipped for these computers. My guess is that when the starters are named and some DEEP POCKET HAYSEED'S son isn't named the starting ________(fill in the blank), ole Pemberton will be handed his walking papers. Nobody here wants to talk about a guy that did well as AN ASSISTANT coach at a school WITH TONS OF ATHLETES and then went to Georgia and BARELY WENT .500 as a HEAD COACH, just to tuck tail and run back to Tennessee so he could cash in on that state championship on his resume THAT SOMEONE ELSE won at CAK, before everyone forgot he was even there. Not scared, we just know what to expect. Plus we aint got nothing to gain playing SMALL TIME programs like them. It's bad enough our schedule is watered down by the JV SQUAD across the river. Besides that we'd hate to lose one of our many studs to an on the field SHANK ATTACK! And I'm not even gonna get started on the (supposedly) grown man taking a swing at our QB a few years ago on the sidelines. But I will say this, he's more than welcome to take a swing at this 2 tour leatherneck anytime he's felling frisky. Now somebody pass THE MAYNORDAISE!!!

I Love HS Football, I've been reading this site for years but not near as long as I've been watching SMITH COUNTY Football. I know the vets on here and who stands with who. Up until this last week I thought you were a Owl fan BUT it seems to me that you've JUMPED SHIP to the Pemberton BANDWAGON!!! You keep this up and ME and the TRUE OWL FAITHFUL won't swallow you up but we might just GILL HOOK you and BASIL BOTH!!! Now pass the MAYNORDAISE!!!!

We don't play in a terrible district!!! TROUSDALE COUNTY plays in a TERRIBLE DISTRICT!!!! We play competetive teams week in and week out. The only sure things on our schedule is Lafayette Whinemoreland and that JR HIGH team across the river that even wets their pants everytime they are asked if they want MAYNORDAISE on their sammy at subway!!! We dominate because we are COACHED to dominate!!!

Blame him for what?!?! Dominating our district?! Being a perinnial playoff contender?! Taking kids and making them better than anyone they play?! Maybe if he went 5-5 with a loss in the first round of the playoffs this year you macon county fans would treat him like HE was the SECOND COMING OF CHRIST! What a joke! Macon county has been feeding off our coaching scraps for years. Then they pay through the nose to get a Jobber to come in and barely beat us because the officials REFUSED to call any pass interference the ENTIRE night! Our recievers looked like they were running routes while giving piggy back rides! And just for your information, I have it on good authority that Your Quarterback club was offering even MORE money trying to get MORE MAYNORDAISE for their money, but the BIG GUY knew he had a much better thing going here! SO CHEW ON THAT FOR A WHILE TIGGER BOY!!!!

Just hide and watch this year, Pemberton got lucky last year and caught our boys sleeping in a non district game. Maynord had a game plan for those tiggers that was perfect. Coach can put them in the perfect position and tell them exactly what the other team is going to do, but he can't do it for them. And BASIL, everybody knows that a pork chop sammich is 10 X's better when you add a lil MAYNORDAISE!!!!
