Big win Friday night over Cane Ridge to keep postseason hopes alive. I want to hear everyone's opinion on this Thursday night's game with the Cougars rolling into Raptorville. Few questions for the board... 1. Will the Cougars beat the Raptors? 2. Will the Cougars still get into the playoffs if they lose this one? 3. Does Centennial pick up wins over Shelbyville and/or Hillsboro? 4. Final prediction of CHS' record? 5. Postseason: YES or NO?

Thanks for posting the video. Give credit to Indy for pulling out a win, but all those mistakes should have cost them. How many turnovers did they have? If Indy doesn't continue giving the ball away they crush CHS. With 6 games left how many do the Cougars pull out as wins?

I think this statement is a little harsh. I know all the coaches on this year's staff. They have several volunteer guys that do a fabulous job plus Shuman is a quality guy. Rector working hand in hand with Shuman should count for something.

It's been quiet on here concerning the 2011 Cougars. Did they do so bad at their last 7 on 7 that no one wants to talk about it? Taco, where are the updates? I did stumble upon this... Franklin or Brentwood, does this strike fear or cause chuckles?

I recall now that Indy's defense was tremendous the year they went to state, but Ceslak was the defensive coordinator that year wasn't he? I think Eubanks was the OC.

I wasn't aware of that. I don't recall the defense being very stout over in "The Station" when he was the DC although he had some guys that could overcome. Things should be interesting on Mallory come this fall. Palin, were you an Eagles fan back in that time frame? What can CHS expect out of Coach E's D?

2-8? With a pansy schedule like that plus a weak district they better not finish with only two wins. I don't think Rector could stomach it. I have heard that there are a couple of freshmen that could contribute varsity wise. Any more details on that? Also heard from one of the dads that the key was going to be improving the defense from spring ball. He said he wasn't sure if there were key players missing or just a bad scheme. Did you hear anything about spring ball?

I know a couple of those schools are 5A just like Centennial but I'm not sure on enrollment numbers at any of them. Since we have looked at the Eagles schedule, what are your predictions for the Cougars ten game stretch?

Interesting you should say that, coach. I realize you can't control who is in your district so I won't count Independence and Ravenwood against your strength of schedule. Centennial's out of district schedule: Overton- This team will be WAY down from what is has been in years past. Antioch- Are they ever good? Their only wins last year were over Hunters Lane, Cane Ridge, Hillwood, and Glencliff. In 2009 they only won three games. Antioch continues to be outmatched in most contests. Wilson Central- They have won five games in two years. That's gotta be considered being down. Cane Ridge- It's a fairly new school with no wins in 2009 and only four last year. They are still trying to build a program. Centennial really could have found better competition. Shelbyville- They have three wins in their district in the last two years. They should be down after the seniors they lost and the head coach leaving. Here's your straw, sir.

Them there Eagles ain't the only ones uh runnin plays in da gym. Last week one murnin I was pullin up to Sintennial. I noticed all the football team was in the gym. Theys was in da huddle and breakin da hudde and running thru some plays. I didn't thank nuttin of it so I got back in my truck and headin off to wurk. I didn't thank nuttin was bein done wrong till I red this post. Is everyone sure this is cheatin? I mean that day the AD was in the gym with da team. Why wood he risk dat? Look like everyone could get in mayjur trubble for sumething they should have known better. It'd be ez to prove. It's all on da camras outside da gym. My thankin is everyone is doin it.
