  1. Thanks for your thoughtful suggestion on my wardrobe and style. Still feel the same about those self-serving few. If you think this should be the forum for nominations, by all means, jump right in. Sure to have many more to follow.
  2. Most certainly, that was more of a knee jerk reaction to those self-serving few that think they must always get their names out or somebody might forget how good they might be. Don't disagree with those names either, if nominated and selected, then probably deserved it. Lots of names could be thrown out and on second thought, maybe this forum should be the platform. It is after all, predicated on information and opinion. BTW, I'm more of a bikini guy, thanks.

Hey nation, why don't y'all kiss and make up. Don't know why you're dragging my posts into this. I think the whole situation yesterday was silly and less than fair to all the teams involved. And since when did this site get so personal other than discussions about players. Next, you'll want to call out the parents who confronted the ump in the parking lot at Portland after the G loss. You sir, may have crossed a line. Keep it real.

Can't dance if you're playing ball, come on man. Could have moved it an hour or 2 and still wore flowers. What a shame, maybe an extra day or 2 won't hurt SC. Really embarrassing "G". Even if your are the host. SAD!

They were too close to the bridge... send SC. Makes sense.

Agreed, from your experience, prom should not be a factor. Period, if you want to play ball and help your team, be there. If not, wear flowers. Everybody elses is out of the way. Just sad you have to waste a day of play, when a little effort and forward thinking eliminates all this. But it is the "G".

Heard the news from Gallatin, no games today. Can't get a field ready in time for the prom. Be proud, wave.
  8. The original poster (leatherballs) was just putting out info about the event. Nowhere was a mention of turning it into a publicity campaign for certain players, which you've attempted to do. Sure there's alot of deserving players in the area, but let the coaches handle it the right way instead of the FC way.
  9. You as the FC contingent... sure stirred up this nest, always seems to come back to public picking on FC. Maybe if the skin wasn't so thin, nerves might not get scratched so easily. As one of those selfish parents for working 2 jobs just to be able to feed the family and keep kids in public schools, kudos to you for all your hard work and wise spending. This guy & Adidas are just trying to put on an event, yet look where it's gone.
  10. You guys really do miss out on the point, don't you. COACHES send in their nominations. Didn't see anything on the original post about player campaigns, but leave it to you guys at FC to bring it down. With such a great program, tradition, and players, maybe after nominations and selections, another thread may begin on topic. And I don't have a dog in the hunt ("your SC boys"). I'll leave that to those that nominate and can follow instructions. If their coaches feel they deserve it, they'll get it. And really, you think those 3 are all that warrant consideration??
  11. Great, let FC be the first to start the bidding process. Nowhere on here was any mention of players other than being nominated by their coaches through the event director. Way to go, just a little self-serving as usual. What about the rest of the lineup?

Browner is a jr., Vaughn doesn't have the grades & Lacey is still on the market. Speaking of which, heard third person from local college asst. that Haeberle is going to Trevecca. Talked with his father last week and they've had no contact from TNU, much less a committment. Wish these guys would get facts straight, because rumors like that could hurt a kids chances to still be looked at. Good luck to all the 9AAA players, lots of talent out there.
  13. 9AAA starts next Fri. @ MJ & Gallatin. Don't know times yet.

Too bad for Beech after losing to H'ville, players got to play on Tues., yet should have served another week suspension due to county rule. Amazing, they'll be back to full strength for district. What a break to slip thru that crack in red tape.
