And yes, I know UC girls are the best team in rural west TN this year... you don't have to remind me. And also, let me clarify before you guys jump in.... WE WILL BE THE 2ND BEST SINGLE A in west TN next year BEHIND UNION CITY. What about Greenfield they are a young team as is GC? They along with Lake Co. Will be there next year. That Lake Co. Team beat next years UC team in the Middle School Sectionals when they were in the eighth grade.

THE BORO NEXT YEAR WHATEVER YOU ARE ON MUST REALLY BE GOOD. That same Greenfield team will play you twice next year and they are probably going finished 4th this year. Very bold predictions. If I was there coach I would probably play those super freshmen this year and get something out of them now an not save them until next year when you go to the "BORO"

Not sure what you saw last night but the UC offense was a team effort last night. And there are two players averaging double figures. Hudson is the leading scorer followed by Reedy with 16 & 11 each. Also Nettles averaging 9 a game. Greenfield was just lucky to catch UC on a bad shooting night and they still scored 46 while holding Greenfield to 26 pts. I'll take that on the road with terrible refs.

Would love to see how they play against pressure defense. That will continue to be there Achilles heel until they sure up their ball handling. There is no substitute for great man defense against a team who can't handle the ball against pressure. It's good to see y'all playing better and growing as a team. Good win on sat.

great statement, its like some of these people on here are really hate what we have become. It is great to see these girls genuine about what they are doing. They play like they care about what they are doing.

The Ensworth Union City is shaping up to be a great game to teams really getting it done and playing some aggressive pressure defense. This tourney will be a real good test for the Lady Tornadoes over the break to see where they are as a Single A title contender.

The statement you have made is very accurate but there is something you are not understanding. Tradition doesn't win ball games, players do. Tradition gives you something to talk about and something for people to talk about when you don't win. Union City is not the same team they were last year. The fact that Amber Fair is hurt and their play to this date only emphasizes the fact that they are a much improved team. There are many who said that UC can't be successful this season but from what they have put on the floor every night they have just as much of a chance as any other A team being mentioned. While shooting comes and goes defense effort can easily be reproduced every night. Greenfieldfan you will get to see it on Tuesday night in living color

UC still has to play Trenton, Greenfield, and a much improved Halls team in this first half of district play but I have to admit didn't see any of this happening without the offensive contributions of one Amber Fair but it is good to see the other players step up and contribute on both ends of the floor. They look like a complete team.
