  1. Well we need to study the study. How many games were on artificial turf vs natural grass. What were weather conditions during the games? You can make stats say whatever you want them to.
  2. It is 40 extra minutes one way for those in West Tennessee. Is it really that big of deal? I swear rural West Tennessee fans are the biggest snowflakes in the entire state. Constantly complaining. I don’t care where my team is playing in the championship as long as they are in the game who cares. This will be a better experience for everyone involved.
  3. Typical Memphis stuff where a judge bails them out for not following the rules. What people don’t realize is these lawsuits cost money and it is hurting the TSSAA and the member schools. As much as I dog the TSSAA, they are in the right in this one and the James Wiseman case.
  4. Man a whole 40 extra minutes from Paris to Chattanooga. For a better overall experience that is a no brainer.
  5. District 12-AA is about come in and lay the smack down tonight. Only team that will win is Creek Wood. The rest will be beaten by 12-AA teams. Talking to Marshall players they are focused and ready to roll tonight.
  6. Not a good night for the district. Community is the only team to squeak by and get a win. First time in a while 12AA sends so many teams home early. I expected Forrest and Nolensville to win.
  7. It’s an odd year so the odd district hosts if it is the same seed.

    12-AA

Central Magnet put it to Marshall. Out coached for sure. Tigers now will be a tough out for whoever gets them from 11AA
  9. Nolensville wins the district. Here are the match ups for Regions 1. Nolensville vs. 4. Stewart Co 3. Community vs. 2. East Hickman 2. Forrest vs. 3. Fairview 4. Giles Co. vs 1. Creek Wood Look for District 12aa to win 3 out of 4 with Creek Wood being the only team from 11aa to win.
  10. Atwood from Trousdale almost pulled the upset of the day. I was shocked Morton struggled against him but that scared seemed to motivate him to finish strong. and you are right about Clevenger I don’t think I have seen anyone weigh less than 210 almost win the Heavyweight Divison.
  11. How in the city that has widespread High Speed WiFi access, can the stream be this bad? if you are going to limit attendance make sure the stream is seamless.
  12. Yes this is terrible. barely able to watch any match and then when you switch matches it’s a dang sleep number commercial.
  13. A couple of reasons. 1. Turf- natural grass surface is asking for trouble with 9 games in 3 days. 2. Venue Size- way too large to create a fun atmosphere for a state championship game 3. Parking is not the easiest around the stadium when schools in session.
  14. Let’s get with the times. Many states rotate their championship game sites and this would be a welcome change by most fans across the state. Rotate between the 3 Cs- Cookeville, Clarksville, and Chattanooga. These three cities have shown interest in hosting. Neyland and Nissan Stadium are not viable options. Once MLS stadium is built there may be some interest and West Tennessee really doesn’t have a facility besides UT-Martin.
  15. This account matches what a buddy of mine who is a Nolensville assistant coach told me happened. He said it was an evenly matched dual. Sounds like some sour grapes from PF. Must be why they didn’t stay around to accept the trophy afterwards.
  16. I should have clarified it wasn’t your comment but Sampson’s because it made it seem like Clevenger took a dive in his match and that is how he won. I thought I read where he pinned the PF kid.
  17. Didn’t Clevenger pin the HW from PF? I am confused. My son played against his brother who was a stud in football and it seems genetics was good to the young man as well.
  18. State will not be happening this week. Tournament delayed until next week.
  19. Well some schools don’t get their panties in a wad like others. If nothing was done wrong then why worry at all. Let people talk. We see top recruits move schools all the time in the mid-state. It is a running joke about recruiting for some schools . Not many times does a top QB especially from Texas picks a Tennessee school to attend.
  20. It’s a joke. Calm down. You must be real fun at parties. This is big news for TN HS football however Ravenwood seems to be a destination or possible destinations for a lot of out of state recruits. It is an interesting situation.
  21. Just saw where the #3 Dual Threat QB in the nation is transferring to Ravenwood from Texas. Coach Hester has to be loving this addition.
  22. Also Camden’s Tanner Hudson earned a ring last night at a TE for the Bucs. Awesome seeing two Tennessee HS talents on the big stage.
  23. Some school districts are not allowing their teams to shake hands. I have seen this all season across the mid-state in all sports.
