  1. Congratulations to WH on the Region Championship. I think there are only good things ahead for Region 6-3A.
  2. That football game was every bit worth the drive from Fairview. What a game! Two well coached and very disciplined football teams. Glad I went.
  3. Does CPA still broadcast live on their channel?
  4. Kevin Eslick was a bad man back in his day at CCHS. Brutal, I tell you. You did not want to be lined up across from him. That 2012 OL was a bunch of road graders.
  5. Great football game! I think we’re seeing the start of some really good 6-3A rivalries. Congratulations BD fans.
  6. White House BDP Facebook page is steaming it live video, too.
  7. 7-7 at the half. Good radio broadcast on 104.5 The Zone.
  8. Definitely the most annoying PA announcer in Middle TN here at WHH.
  9. Locals…Tell us the crown jewel Mom & Pop diner in White House to visit before the game.
  10. Definitely the 2A club to watch. Impressive. There is talent all over the field with Westview. Safe travels back west and good luck from here on out. I’ll be following.
  11. Alabama doesn’t just offer to anybody. We know our work is cut out for us in Fairview. I’m glad to see our staff schedule this game. Iron sharpens Iron. Our Jackets will strap up and go at it toe to toe tomorrow night.
  12. No doubt. Always a great game. Some of the best football I’ve seen over the past 7-8 years.
  13. First home game on our field. Last week was a “home game” at Page High.
  14. First game on the new artificial turf if it goes on as scheduled.
  15. I have a blue and black pair of Nike cleats, worn 1 time in an adult softball game. Size 13. I’d love to get those to some big ole boy who may have lost theirs in the clubhouse flood.
  16. The community of Fairview sent six loads down yesterday. We now have the updated list of request needs and it has been shared. Drop points are set here and Yellow Jacket Nation will be sending more. Good Bless you all.
  17. “The catch” definitely hit the ground under the receiver (right in front of me). The refs actually let them play. They really only called the obvious stuff. Sloppy game for sure.
  18. We all love us some football, but this morning it’s no priority. Know that your friends in Fairview are sending our strongest prayers for the safety and well being of all involved in the horrible flooding in Waverly this morning.
  19. Some of the best football I’ve seen over the past 6 or 7 years has been the Waverly/Fairview rivalry. The White House teams also make the district intriguing this year. I think this turns out to be a highly competitive schedule of football for everyone here. Glad to see it. Bring on Friday Night Lights!
  20. I wouldn’t put a lot into comparing scrimmages with either of these clubs. These two teams usually get up for this annual opener. It’s always a great atmosphere. Looking forward to it!
  21. Long drive back from Dover tonight. Dropping in to congratulate the new Region 6-3A Champs, Stewart County.
  22. Long ride home tonight, no doubt. Just wanted to pop in and congratulate the new Region 6-3A Champs, Stewart County and their fans.
  23. To our good neighbors in Waverly. Like you all, this was one football game we in Fairview do look forward to. Whether it be the heart crushing OT loss or the last second win, we love this football game as much as you do. We’re all in uncharted waters these days. As bad as we miss the Friday Night Lights in Fairview, I think we all appreciate the efforts of keeping the players, parents and grandparents safe and healthy during these times. I think I can say as a tiny part of Yellow Jacket Nation...we apologize. But, in the grand scheme of things currently, I think we all agree that the pigskin bouncing around on the gridiron is minimal compared to health. We, like you, hope this game is rescheduled. But, if not, you can bet Yellow Jacket Nation will be Tiger fans for the rest of your season. Until then, let’s all keep our fingers crossed and pray for each other during this mess.
