How does TSSAA decide who is the home team? The team with the best record? Covington is home team this Saturday!

This team has brought the town together like nothing else! Should be a great game between 2 outstanding teams.

4 My Sister, what you wrote about the Falcons describes the Charger football team. They are a team, and give all the glory to God! We have two outstanding players, but if they can't run the ball others can. Get all over #1' and our QB will throw to our other good receivers. The Chargers are a TEAM, and play like a TEAM. This team has bro together like nothing else....To say this team has HEART would be an understatement, what they have can't be described. With that being said, GO CHARGERS!!!!!

Carlos Williams, #1 from Covington, has already signed to play baseball at Ole Miss. He had football offers, but he loves baseball.

LHS, I was standing at the end zone as Liberty fans exited, and I didn't hear the singing.....probably some younger fans. Covington respects all opposing fans and tries to be very accommodating...ask Crocket Co, Sheffield, Hillcrest, etc. One thing that we are proud of is our respect for the other teams! You shouldn't assume that all Charger fans are like the ones singing!

Good Luck Milan...bring the gold ball to West Tennessee! Covington will be cheering for you. We should have a lot of people in Cookville by early Friday. Go Dawgs!!!!

The middle school had several years without a good coach, but now are in the process of rebuilding. The coach is also an assistant coach at the high school. The freshman team has been undefeated many years in the past, and has a good coach. Good luck to the football players and coaches!

I so agree! Charger football is BACK!!! I am so proud of Coach Wheeler and all of his staff for rebuidling the team to what it once was!

Coach Wheeler will have his team ready every week; he won't slack off, and the boys won't get the big head. Coach knows that anything can happen in a football game and takes nothing for granted. If anything, he will work them harder! I hope and pray that we make it to state and bring the gold ball to the West! As far as being disrespected....it just makes them work harder! People need to remember that our second and third string have done a very good job during the third and fourth quarters of a lot of games this season! The boys will be ready for whoever they play! They'ge got the skill, strength, talent, and heart to bring the gold ball home! CHARGERNATION!

Congratulations Milan on giving the Chargers a good game...best game all year! Just a little heads up Milan football parents: the two football players that got in a fight after the game put a dent in the van....don't know how big...but a lot of people saw it....don't know if the owner will get an estimate on it or let it slide....just wanted y'all to know. Congratulations Chargers on a well earned victory...you've got the skill, strength, and coaching to go all the way!
