  1. My talking is done about this game for now. I won't brag too much after the game Friday night.
  2. This is the game I've been waiting on. We have been on a roll the last two weeks and we will win our 3rd straight game. Coalfield is good but there line isn't as great as they think it is. We have some big boys up front and they are looking forward to showing what they can do. Wartburg wins this one 28-14.
  3. Well we got beat by a much better team than us. We have some issues to get figured out and then we will get on a roll. They were a whole lot better than I thought. I was too embarrassed to come down to the scoreboard after the game. But I definitely think you all are the best team we will play all season. The only problem I have with the game the other night was why was Greenback throwing the football up 41-8 late in the game?
  4. Well I have to admit, she is the toughest one on the team that I've seen. That tells you a lot about Greenback. And yeah, I will be at the game tonight. I'm not a big gambler, but I will put $20 on the game. I will be along the fence in the end zone near the scoreboard immediately after the game.
  5. This is one of the games I've had circled on the schedule because it is one that we should have won last year. We will make a statement this week. Greenback isn't very big. They do play hard and they have pretty good speed, but their weak schedule will show this week when the Bulldogs take them behind the woodshed. #4 in the state? What a joke. We will show you all how to play real tackle football. I hope that girl has her helmet buckled on tight because I hear that we have some guys that are going to introduce her to the dirt. I can't wait to make it on down to watch our guys take care of business.
  6. I heard that the Harriman job is open? Who is going to get it and who all has applied?
  7. Our coach at Wartburg Jason Davis has applied. I would hate to see him leave Wartburg, but I understand his wife is from there and they live there too.
  8. I was told today that Coalfield scrimmaged Celina's b-team last night and didn't look very good. I heard they were pretty good size on the line, but don't have much speed and weren't very physical. Anybody else go to see them scrimmage?
  9. Way to show that GCA pride. I'm sure there are a lot of people that will be drawn to Christ through your attitude. You need to represent a lot better than that.
  10. Sounds like somebody is making excuses for how we handled them. This is going to be a great year to be a Bulldog. I guess with all the seniors that Coalfield, Oliver Springs, Sunbright and Oakdale lost, they aren't on here bragging like they normally do. What have you all looked like this spring?
  11. I've had quite a disdain for that school since their athletics started. It began in a girls basketball summer league several years ago at Oakdale with the terrible attitudes of the players and the unprofessionalism of their coaches and they have maintained that throughout the years in football and basketball. Cheaters always can make excuses and cheaters normally lie. That is true in this case.
  12. I thought we looked like a team that will win the district this year. I am stoked.
  13. Well I'm not going to rat the assistant out for what he told me, but it came from his own mouth too. I think he told me it starts at 6.
  14. I ran into one of the assistants the other day and he was excited about how practice is going. Said they were going into the Sweeetwater scrimmage taking it like a game and looking to make a statement.
  15. But it is always a great year to be a Bulldog!
