After 15 years, I have stepped down to spend more time being a dad. I'm still teaching at Bearden and will help transition the new coach.

If you are looking in the West Knoxville area, Bearden High School has a strong foundation. We run a freestyle club during the summer and are rebuilding our youth program. We will have our second Fight Night on April 2nd from 6-7:30pm at Bearden High School. This is free and available to all wrestlers (middle and high) who want to come and participate. Let's make each other better in a fun atmosphere. This will be in the wrestling room. Enter the double glass doors near the bottom of the tennis courts.

Coaches, I am trying to find more girls matches for this year. I currently have at least 4 girls who are wrestling this year. I have scheduled the following so far, but would like more. 11/14 Pigeon Forge Preseason 11/21 Bearden Preseason 12/5 Border Duals Girls tournament at TN high 1/9 Girls tournament at Science hill 1/18 Girls tournament at Halls 1/29 Girls East Regional at Bearden If you have girls and would be willing to come to Bearden when we have Varsity Matches, I can put out another mat for the girls.
