Jazz Town Duals is fastly approaching, one of the biggest and best Folkstyle Tournaments of the summer. We are once again sponsored by Cradle Gear and will have amazing Finalists singlets to award to the 18 members of each finalist team. Jazz Town Duals will be hosting Gene Mills on June 6th and 7th, the thursday and friday prior to the tournament. Coach Mills will run a 2 day, 4 session clinic. The clinic is open to all but space is limited to 80 wrestlers. All tournament participants will be able to attend the clinic at a discounted rate. Following the clinic on June 8th and 9th, we will once again be hosting, Jazz Town Duals. A folkstyle, USA wrestling sanctioned, dual tournament that guarantees all teams 8 dual meets over two days, in the great city of New Orleans. The tournament is growing is will be tougher than ever. We are pleased to announce that we will once again be hosting the New Orleans Jazz Town Duals, on June 8th and 9th, this summer. This is a folkstyle Dual meet format tournament that is USA wrestling sanctioned. Teams wrestle at least 8 duals over two days. Schoolboy, Cadet, and Junior aged wrestlers may compete in the single high school division. No Graduating Seniors are allowed to compete. 15 Weight Classes 98 through Heavy with a 4 pound allowance. Last years tournament was a great success with 16 teams wrestling on 9 mats and a highly competitive field that included multiple state championships squads and teams from multiple states. This years we are looking to expand to 24 teams over 10 mats. The Jazz Town Duals will be hosted in New Orleans, LA on June 1st and 2nd. This is a dual format tournament that guarantees all teams 8 dual meets. We also have a designated exhibition mat so that wrestlers can challenge others and get as many matches as they want over the two day event. Jazz Town Duals brings in top teams from all over the South East and promises to be a great time for everyone. We are running 15 weight classes 98 to Heavy with a 4 pound allowance. Each team can bring as many as 20 wrestlers or as few as 10. We will run a farm system so that everyone gets to wrestle and compete. (Teams may bring more than 20 wrestlers to farm out but max 20 per squad) Also teams may bring up to 3 wrestlers that do not attend their respective high schools.
