  1. I would like to throw Morris Eguaken from MBA and Kaleb Baker into the wrestler of the year awards. Morris eguaken didn't even wrestle in a state tournament until he was a junior and made it tho the state finals this year and gave Mason the closest finals match that he has had in 3 years. His story is a good one to tell young kids who are starting late. Also, kaleb Baker is a hauss. The cbhs wrestler pinned his way through the state tournament along with a 45 second pin in the finals. By far the best wrestler in the state. Turbo smith may be in that convo too, but I'm not sure if he was injured later in the season or not.

    MBA

What a year for the Big Red. Going from being one of the worst teams in MBA history to being one game short of the state title game. These boys had a heck of a year and returned prestige to MBA Football. Now let's hope Ensworth wins the state championship.
  3. Eguakun added another sack against McCallie which gives him 8.5 and I believe the most sacks in Div II-AA.
  4. Jetarii Donald- MBA 92-ATT 663-Yards 7.2-Avg 8-TDS 65-Long
  5. Morris Eguakun - MBA 7.5 Sacks including 2 against #1 Trinity and 1 against #12 Ensworth 2 Pass Breakups and 2 Pass Deflections 1 Forced Fumble 8 Tackles for Loss 23 Total Tackles
  6. MBA played a good first half. Second half, defense couldn't get off the field and were gassed. Ensworth played a heck of a game with some unmatched coaching calls. Corn is amazing at what he does, the kids needs very little room to hit a hole and very little time to cut. He will be fun to watch for the rest of this year. This #19 Morris Eguakan kid has been under the radar, but as I've been watching the Big Red this year, every single game consistently, this kid is making key plays.(I believe he leads the division in sacks), and he did it in this game, too. Just wanted to point out the two players from each side that I thought stuck out in this game. Will be exciting to see these boys on the next level.
  7. I give this one to MBA in a tight, exciting game. MBA's defense has been extremely stingy with their run defense. I see this limiting Corn and controlling the clock with their big O-line and 4 running backs and wearing down the Cornsworth D. I will definitely be in attendance for this one.
  8. Alright men. This is usually the biggest game of the year. MBA looks extremely strong this year. There run game is clicking, and Dylan Hall is playing extremely well this year. MBA's defense has only allowed 2 running backs to rush for over 100 yards this year out of 6 games and pitched two shutouts. Ensworth is strong like always with Corn Elder leading his troops to an undefeated season this year, so far. Any thoughts on this game? Predictions?
  9. Trinity blows through BA 52-23. MBA beats Kingsbury 51-0, not sure if that says much but that was the score. Any thoughts on how MBA wil fare against Trinity Friday.
  10. I saw the MBA scrimmage against Franklin this past friday and I saw Siegel scrimmage BA, and I must say that I feel that MBA is a lot more physical than BA this year. It will be an interesting week 3. Jalen Ramsey and CJ Sanders have brought a lot of media attention to BA this summer, but Alex Bars and Jashon Robertson both have brought attention to MBA and give them an identity to be a very physical team this year. Not to mention Morris Eguakun getting 3 sacks in 3 quarters against Franklin! Div II is very interesting this year.
  11. MBA and Siegel scrimmaged Saturday morning. I got out to Murfreesboro to see it and the Big Red pretty much dominated the scrimmage. Alex Bars was getting a lot of attention from the 247 crew on sight at the scrimmage. Any thoughts or predictions.
