Game will go on as scheduled. Unfortunately we are having to deal with them black plague at CA.

Coach Hood and his staff have nothing but class. They are smart enough to know that you can still lose the game until the end of the 4th quarter. Remember our game against HC. He is trying to get the score to the 35 point spread as soon as he can, so that the second half can go to continuous clock. McEwen is a dangerous team that can put up some points and make a game out of it anytime. So, if you hear him say, he wants his team to score as many points as they can, its because he is trying to ensure victory. Not run up the score on another team. Most of our starters were out in the second half. He was only able to do that because the team had a comfortable margin at the half. When we were getting beat down by Portland, we didn't whine and complain about it. That's how the game is played within the rules that we have. They were a 5A team with more depth and more athletes than we had. Portland made the 5A playoffs coming out of a tough district. They did what they had to do, and so does Clarksville Academy. I am proud that my son plays for Coach Hood and his staff. They are coaching a program that some said would never have success. They get the absolute most out of their players. Above all Coach Hood has made them believe that they can win if they work hard enough and give their best effort every week. To me that is class.

When Goodpasture is in 10-A next year you will have someone else to hate on.

51-0. Oops, bad call. Only thing McEwen wanted more than CA was to go home. About middle of the 2nd.

CA youngsters stepped up. Kept the team in the game. Held on for a big win. The cougars are in a good position now but they need to stay focused on the opponent each week. MJCA this week. They don't need a letdown. It's time to come out strong.

CA another big win. Revenge Game on SC from loss last year. First real test is next week against NCS. I am already fired up. I may not sleep this week.

Great game from CA today. Few mistakes against a down Central team. 5 out of 7 winners in 10A. Looks to be very competitive this year. What do you think?
