Until TSSAA does something about Chattanooga Prep being allowed to recruit top players in Chattanooga area and still be in 1a, it will be their championship to lose.
It is simply not a level playing field. If schools could pick strictly off their boys, this would look entirely different. I can’t stand adults cheating and the powers that be allowing it. I never be convinced that Union City hasn’t fudged their numbers for years. Good luck to Frank Hughes today.
I feel like all of the moves are for one reason. As much as I dislike some of these teams they are jobs many coaches around the state would jump at. What school systems or booster clubs can afford to fork it out?
Huntingdon will be good again. Huntingdon will be in the mix for years to come. There is talent getting ready to come through for the next several years. Ask around the area that are playing against Huntingdons 3rd- 6th grade girls. Not to mention middle school girls winning 22 games his year and losing 1 game. Wilkins is just getting ready to go on a run.
Looks like Dyersburg is having to play 8 plus the Upperman coach. It’s sad that the officials are the ones switching the momentum. Let em play. It’s the championship. No one is watching to see the officials
