LA over Dekalb 2 to 0. It was a very good game! Great pitching and Defense by both! 8 innings a Ledbetter home run! Then a double play by our freshman 2nd baseman to end the game. Very proud!

Yes because if we had seen it and thru the ball back and umpire saw it she would have been out on the force extra inning. However, it is a mute point now.

The kid did miss the bag at 1st. Wished we had seen that last night but everyone was watching fair or foul.

I would have love to have used our GoPro on that game. To know if that final ball was truly fair or foul. I know Macon had theirs running. Would love to see that footage just to know for sure. It will be a good game at LA come Friday.

LA comes to Cookeville Monday. I don't think we will see either ones Ace as this is non district for both. Hoping for a good game tho. We haven't played them in a couple years. Hoping for a good competitive game!

Anyone know how the Upperman vs Macon game went?

LA had a good showing at the Clay Co Tourney. Got beat in the semis by a very good Apollo, Ky team who then forfeited the Championship game due to the number of games on their schedule. I understand 2nd was given to Macon by default but they lost in the semi final round too. Well that being said LA hit the ball much better and are hopefully starting to gel. We are suppossed to play Macon tomorrow but looks like that will be a rainout then DH at Cannon for Thursday. Come on girls, let's get it!

La @Upperman stopped in the bottom of 6th LA up 4 to 1 due to lightening. Will finish the game when they come to our house. Great start to the district proud of all of these girls and Pennycuff looking sharp on the mound 13Ks so far! This team has the potential to be very special as they gel. Go Big Blue!

After watching some games today in the Gordonsville tourney, I think we are in for some great district competition. District starts Tuesday at Upperman for LA. Let's get it.

Yes I realize that she is a UT Martin Commit and congrats to her! She will be pitching against two other college signees/commits as well in Pennycuff and Caplinger. That should mean we will have some great pitching in 8AA and are in for some great pitchers duels! I think it is yet to be determined who the best pitcher will be. There is a lot of softball to be played between now and the end of this season.

Interesting seeding UpperCumberlandMan. I know Macon has the girl that was out last season returning but #1? New Coach too and with a few still in basketball right now, that is ambitious. I think 1/2 is DeKalb/LA and then Macon but we will see. I know that their new coach knows the game so we will see how it all turns out. Excited to get going!
