  1. Ok sorry I have tried to stay out of this long enough. 1st off how do you cheat coaching 3rd base??? I mean everyone is watching right?? Second your opinion on the Coach is about like your predictions very far fetched! Lastly I am sure if your coach knew the things you were saying she prob wouldn't be to happy. Let's just hope both District 8A teams can make it to Murfreesboro. Oh and I seriously doubt Coach Woodard would ever throw a Region Championship especially if you win you host!! Good luck to Watertown
  2. Hopefully we will both Win Monday and then this can all be settled Weds. Good Luck.
  3. Well Well you were right about one thing. Watertown would play for the district title. Goodpasture 8A Champions!!!! It was a great game and Watertown was on a mission after ending Gordonsville season. Hats off to Watertown and if the past is any indication of whats to come there will be a rematch next Weds night in the Region Championship. Only Monday matters right now! Good luck to both 8A teams!

  11. Congrats to Gordonsville on State Champs! This proves Cori Jennings is the MVP in Class A. Another shutout!!!
  12. Two players looking for pick up this summer both signed to play college ball. They left the travel team they was on to make room for other girls trying to get exposure and signed this summer. One is a CF and the other is a Catcher. Please email me if you have a need or spot, these two girls want to continue playing to keep their skills sharp. Jasonlittlejohn22@gmail.com
  13. Leaving Cori Jennings off this list is very wrong She is by far the best pitcher in single A. I had the task of trying to get girls to hit the ball against her as an assistant coach on another team in that district. She has great speed, killer change up and great control. If you have the argument that she is not the best, look at what she has accomplished in the State Tournament. She has pitched 3 shutout games against some very good hitting teams, that's impressive! I think you need to recalculate your votes because she deserves to be Miss Softball in single A. The only reason she may not have got voted in would be her attitude towards coaches and teammates. She never displayed a bad attitude in the games we played but this award is not just about stats but also attitude and work ethic. If she is a team player and coachable then this vote was not done fairly. Win that State Championship tonight Cori and that will show who the best is. Good luck and way to represent our district 8a. It's a shame you was left off this list but helping your team win that Championship will be more important 20 years from now.
