this is wild lol idk if ive ever seen a bigger case of "stat padding" when they dont venture out and face better competition. theyre perfectly content staying home and beating up on lesser teams in state

that’s my thought process as well. going from projected to miss the tourney all together to handling #3 and then getting this draw…they have to like their chances. and we all know from experience, a confident Bradley squad with momentum is dangerous.

i flipped a literal coin on that and Bradley/Halls. those 3 are tight.

if i was to seed this years, this would be my bracket. Flipped the 3/6 and 4/5 matchups to avoid region foes meeting before the finals. 1. Cleveland vs 8. Arlington 3. Brentwood vs 6. Halls 4. Dobyns vs 5. Bradley 2. Summit vs 7. Bartlett

the sad part is, they fork out the big bucks for football to play at Finley, for basketball to play at Murphy, for baseball to play at Smith Field (MTSU). Track and tennis both use MTSU. But wrestling, we can only go where it’s free.

i just really hope Summit can stay focused the rest of the day with a loss. It can be really easy for kids to see that draw and then throw everything you have at Cleveland, and then not have much left in the tank to have to go fight through consolations with a loss.
