Almost kick-off time. I'm pulling for the number 1 seeded team to pick up the win. I have seen both teams in person so I have an opinion. Both teams have dominate players. NCS is a power run team and CA is more balanced in its attack. NCS defense stays in your backfield and CA is more of a bend but don't break. I just think that CA will use its home field advantage to "slide" by NCS. Both teams are well coached. The atmosphere and field at the CA facility is first class and a great place to play a football game. Hope neither team has any injuries from tonight. Good season by both teams.

Congrats to Columbia Academy football team, coaches and supporters on your win tonight. You have good facilities and were a fine host. You have an outstanding team and your players showed great character during and after the game. I appreciate the good sportsmanship of both these teams tonight. Both teams fought hard in the extremely cold weather. Good luck in your game next week.

Not stirring up anything. You brought it up. Just reposting what you stated and you mention our team. I stated my opnion. I can't disagree that NCS gave us a "thumping". Also No miracle needed for Friday night, CA north just needs to perform on Friday night. Go Cougars!

I read the article. Same old stuff. It was good if your a Columbia Academy fan and wanted to read some home cooking before the game. We have the same type articles in our local paper that flatter Clarksville Academy. Neither real provide any real insite into the game itself. No real Xs or Os. This game will be about which team's defense can stop the others offense. CA north offensive game plan is based upon multiple players scoring and contributing. You will not be able to win by just stopping one aspect of the game or one player. We have played pretty good defense all year. We hope to have rotating players in your backfield all night putting pressure the QB. Someone earlier said that we can't play defense against anyone with a pulse. Boy are they way off. The players we got back last week for the Huntland game really helped. I know CA south has a good QB and WR. I also know the kicker has a shot of winning 1A kicker of year. We got a good QB, WR's and RB' too. We also got a pretty good set of kickers ourself. I think this game will be a battle and that we match up pretty well. Good luck to both teams and pray for an injury free game.

Don't miss quote me or use me as some example. Reread my post. I didn't slam your program at all. I said the # 50 is a d1 prospect. He will win the 1A lineman of the year. I also said #35 and #12 were D1 prospects. I just didn't think there were 6 or more. I just said that the two juniors had great games on the night we played. I think # 35 was the best player on field when NCS and The Academy played. #12 wasn't far behind. I am not offended by your talent at all. I am impressed. The night we played you guys was your senior night and during the announcements most had been at the school for sometime. Everyone just sees the number of students enrolled at NCS and then they see you dress 50 football players with the talent level. It's a football thing. NCS is also good at other sports but not near as dominate as football.

I though I would chime in on this football game. I am pulling for Wayne County to pull out the victory. All the stars will have to line up right and they can not let the NCS get the "mo" going. I do agree that NCS has more depth but I did not see 6 D1 prospects. I think NCS has at least 3 great players. Maybe more but on the night we played The 2 juniors were the most impressive in my mind. Number 35 is dominate on both sides of the ball. He cause more disruption for our offense than other player this year. He is also a good RB. RB Number 12 is flat out fast and quick. We did not stop him all night. The lineman number 50 has great size and a prototype lineman. he caused some issues but not near as much as the other two. Don't get me wrong he is a D1 prospect. I don't know a lot about WC individual talent but from what I seen and heard that have a bunch of quality young players. Depth is a issue. WC can't be trailing going into 4th quarter. I think NCS gets the W but I would not be shocked if WC slipped by. Everyone talks about WC fumbles but NCS has there share of fumbles also. I am really more concerned with CA north and CA south game. Go Cougars!

On paper Columbia Academy should win this game hands down. they have the better record, on averaged offense scored more points and defense allowed less points. More experienced and bigger QB and kicker with a "longer" leg. The North CA team does have some i tangables going for it the doesnt show up in the boxscore. I will say this, Columbia Academy should be the favorite going into the game but Clarksville Academy is gonna show up ready to play. Winning a 2nd round game is just one of the goals for our team going into the season. The Cougars has been "doubted" all year by many others. Some had us as a less than 500% team. They are folks out there that picked us to lose each and every week. The North CA team has had a good season but they want more. We have a few things to "clean up" from the Huntland game. We did come out the game w/o any new injuries. I looking foward to a hard fought game. I have heard it will be extremely cold Friday night and a chance of some white stuff floating around in the air and maybe on the ground. Go Cougars!

I think it's lots of travel time. Who this be for all sports or just football. I can't see going to Wayne county on a Tuesday nigh for a basketball or baseball game.

I am on my back to Clarksville and listening to 104.5. The supposedly "GURU" Murphy. He just stated this about the four teams left in 1A Quad 3 . He said the if Columbia Aacademy, Wayne County and Clarksville Academy put together an Allstar team that still would be able to stay on the field with NCS. Interesting statement.
