if they win out we would have something to build on. We will just have to wait and see? CC players came to play last night...something fans haven't seen this year. somebody in that field building had to say something to change them that much....

you probably need to re-read the post, not really calling for coaches head... ask the coach to look deep inside his soul and question himself..is he the right guy for the program...

No dis respect Red Boiling springs for this quote - just a comparison 2013 RBS 2-8 CC 1-9 2014 RBS 5-3 CC 0-7 Head Coach at CC - you need to look in the mirror and truthfully ask yourself. Are you taking the CC program in the right direction? Sometimes you have to fail a few times before you get it right. Example - Dave Ramsey bankrupt 4-5 times but now a fairly wealthy person. Have some pride and walk away...If not, i don't think you want the embarrassment of the circumstances that will fall when this season is over!!!! Do it for the kids, this is not about you!!!

Thanks DCTIGERFAN... It's all confusing to watch... but the kids ...it's all about the kids. I had a good group of complainers sitting in my area of the stadium... typical of people to sit and judge, but fail to follow up and hold someone accountable for the status of the program. Similar to the Government in CC. Maybe we could call this OBAMABALL!!! I guess whomever started football must have enjoyed guns and hunting too!! Oh and a big shout out to the cheerleaders and mascots...ya'll are doing a great job!!! I will continue to learn (listen) each week as we trek through this season. I think you can learn a lot in a loss... but the amount of losing We (CC) do is a little bit overdone. As you can see from the last 2 season i've followed and if you research the history the last 5 all really sad!!!!

morning coffee in hand and blogging begins You can learn a lot just by listening in the stands and these are the comments i caught last night Yes the HC will probably be talking moral victory to his players....But at game 5 of the season there are too many self inflicted wounds. Defense looked great in the middle and and i believe there was a new person playing at inside linebacker. outside defensive backs (ones closes to the outbound markers) are playing to soft letting the runners get to them instead of going to meet the runners. no containment? Overall positive comments on defensive play... Offensive side got a lot of questions. going for it on 4th down on the first offensive plays at your own 28 yard line - this brought many comments. Quarterback in gun set (shotgun or pistol) not sure what that means ....but this term was used when the team got a safety (gun term) in the end zone But Offense still struggles each week with penalties, fumbles and array of various ways to beat themselves 4th quarterback in 5 games? need to settle on 1 or 2 ??? Why did player not have to leave for being thrown out of the game...not good to be thrown out for fighting ...coaches need to do a better job controlling players tempers - direct reflection on coaches ???? and many more comments - I thought the players did a good job being competitive - getting behind by 12 points in the 1st quarter is just too much for this coaching staff and team to overcome. I saw something different tonight.. players didn't give up. younger dark headed coach very energetic and attempting to keep team motivated in the early portion of the game when things were going south. Not sure who is picking wardrobe for Head coach but the Hat was not a good idea (my fashion input). final note we had a lot of kids get banged up last night, I hope each one recovers quickly. Players of the team keep working hard it will happen one day. Parents if you think the game went well - good for you. If not pick your phone up, call the principal and voice your opinion about the state of CC football. Or things will never change. I saw too high ranking administrative people (principal and whatever you call the person who leads the schools in cannon county) THEY SEEMED TO BE VERY PLEASED WITH THE PRODUCT ON THE FIELD. CALL THEM AND TELL H0W YOU FEEL!!!!

ok I don't have a lot football knowledge, but i do love numbers…goes with the way i live..everything is measurable (stats). so i went back and looked at records for the last 8-10 years on CoachT…this is what i found. 2007 record 6-5 points scored avg p/game 25 Opp. points scored avg 23.6 2008 record 4-6 points scored avg p/game 21.5 OPP points scored avg 23.2 2009 record 6-5 points scored avg p/game 20.3 OPP points scored avg 18 now that appears to be competitive not sure who was coaching then but i think parents and fans could get behind those numbers???? anyone who can add to the coach at that time may be able to add to that. the next 5 years are really grim (includes 4 games this year) 2010 record 1-9 points scored avg p/game 10.1 OPP points scored avg 42.3 2011 record 0-10 points scored avg p/game 11.1 OPP points scored avg 50.5 2012 record 0-10 points scored avg p/game 8.1 OOP points scored avg 37.6 2013 record 1-9 points scored avg p/game 4.8 OOP points scored avg 34.5 2014 record 0-4 points scored avg p/game 6.5 OOP points scored avg 34.5 so like i said above something happened after the 2009 season????

I think this HC has been in the program for 5 years (3 as Asst coach and 2 as HC). 3rd or 4th year as the OC… look at his stats and records for the last 3 years and then comment to the folks. I believe the HC has the talent to do better than what has taken place of the the past 2 -3 years. THE PLAYERS AT CC DESERVE BETTER!!!!!! PARENTS STAND UP AND DO SOMETHING..EITHER GET ON BOARD WITH THE HC AND HOLD HIM ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE STATE OF CC FOOTBALL OR DEMAND CHANGE!!!!

Very Sad night, these players could compete … they need leadership, they deserve better than what they have. Is the HC smart enough to understand he is not the answer and these kids deserve more than he can give them. I'm sure the HC is a great person, but at some point the HC needs to look in the mirror and ask what's best for theses players !!!

it's time for change again…. this HC isn't getting it done. the talent Cannon County has on the field right now should equal wins against the 3 teams CC has played. What i don't understand is, you don't hear any parents complaining? What's up with the parents of the players at CC…Do you like where the program went in the last 4 years (2 - 38) heading for (2-48).

Really not even an LOL at the end of it. that's 8.2 points per minute of the game if my calculation is correct and considering the clock runs continuously after the score reaches 35 point spread… that's pretty amazing. You must be looking at a different DC than the rest of us. the defense is not that bad for CC so i hope you stand up and tell everyone how bad your prediction is at the end of the game...

I agree the boys we have on the field are good enough to win. Just trying to figure out who is the coach? The principal or the the head coach.
