Even Alabama looses a game every once in a while, the jackets will be just fine. They don't stand a chance of loosing a district game, winning the district gives them an auto 1st or 2nd seed in playoffs and that's all that matters. Let's talk in November.

I don't need to defend Slim, but he takes it as good as he gives it. I know he pokes fun, but does have a good knowledge of TC obviously, but has insight in many programs in the state. You may not agree with him much, but most of the time he is right on with his statements, won't sugar coat TC or anyone else.

TC is the clear favorite in the district, however it could come down to who avoids injuries the best between TC, Gville and GP. If TC stays healthy the only question will be who finishes second just like last year.

Could not agree more. A good example is last years 2a team. Goodpasture had at least 2 people on pre season all state and TC ate their lunch two times last year. I don't know if any if these players had any impact against TC. It is good to see so many well deserved TC players get their due this year. In all fairness, the LB listed for GP this year is a player and well deserved.

On Oct 3rd you won't get the same spot of points you got last year at DC. This one will be over early and you won't need to talk about what could have been. I guarantee the field will be faster, best bring some track shoes as you will be chasing jackets all night.

I don't look for GP to be any better than they were last year. If they go 5-5 they should be happy. They lost too much from last years class.

One thing I am sure of is that coach C can take a 180 pound lineman and line him up against your 250 pound DT and whip him every time. I guarantee you that the day after the gold ball was won in Cookeville, the line was being worked on for 2014.

End result should be TC from the east and one of the sweater vests from the west, TC getting another gold ball.
