  1. 100% agree, that game was in hand if they had just kept running the ball.
  2. Respectfully disagree, yes McNamara was great last night no doubt but Potts stats speak for themselves.
  3. No doubt McNamara is a great player but Potts has really played a great game and ran the offense without mistakes.
  4. Redmond having a great game on both sides of the ball
  5. Powell has to settle down and come out in second half and establish the running game.
  6. Powell needs to get Greene involved in the offense this drive.
  7. Close game throughout but Powell 35-21 with a defensive score being a big difference maker.
  8. No doubt about that, they could have probably won the majority of their games just by out scoring teams but no way they contend for a championship without the defensive turnaround.
  9. After giving up 112 points in the first 2 games of the season against Anderson County and Maryville the Powell defense has just given up 112 in the last 12 games. I think that’s the difference on Friday, this entire unit is playing great football.
  10. Agree 100%, this isn’t the same defense that we saw against Anderson County at the first of the year. Kudos to the coaching staff on bringing this defense along and getting everyone used to their roles playing alongside Walter. They might be peaking at just the right time.
  11. Matt Lowe gonna do what he does best. Boneheaded decisions at crucial times.
  12. So a coach shouldn't run his regular offense when he has 3rd string in the game? That's how great teams develop depth and keep winning year in and year out.
