  1. Don't know if it's true, but rumour has it that a former Pioneer and recent Lyndsey Wilson graduate has joined the staff as a coach.
  2. . Why don't y'all try walking in high Cotten, some of the Warren idiots seem to think he invented football
  3. Last season with a record above .500 was 1990. It's that bad
  4. Warren has no run game and an inexperienced QB. They will make history, first team to go 0-11
  5. Warren could have had Jalen Hurd at tailback and it wouldn't have mattered. Their offensive line is garbage. I've heard rumors that the QB is considering sticking with just basketball, with that group in front of him it would be a wise choice healthwise. I can't understand why Warren County hasn't had a decent o line in years, even when the Robinson kid was there they weren't that good as a unit.
  6. I'm not saying this would ever happen, but how stupid would the T$$AA look if at the end of the year the 6A state champs record was 5-10. It could happen but highly unlikely. A team should earn a playoff spot not be given one just because of the number of students enrolled
  7. I don't have a child playing on the team so your argument about that in invalid. The saying is sports in general prepares a person for life, so you're saying that it's ok if instead of showing up for work everyday, putting in the time to hone your craft, etc. it is acceptable to lay out by the lake, ride dirt bikes with your friends, float the river, ride around all the while your co-workers (teammates) are working hard and doing things the right way, yet you should be allowed to just show whenever you feel like it and get the same paycheck as the ones that have been actually putting in the time? I bet you burn the flag and believe in socialism also
  8. Yes, I think DeKalb will score on Warren County, early and often. Reason I believe this is severe lack of discipline. From what I hear is nothing has changed in this department. Players that have missed all of off season workouts for whatever reason being allowed back on the team with open arms. The only reason a kid should miss workouts is if they are playing another sport that is in season. If you want to miss football workouts because you've got summer baseball or basketball then make a choice, if you've got to work and miss then make a choice. Id rather have a team with 50 kids that is dedicated to improving the football program and will be there everyday than have a roster of 80 that only half of them really care. I've already heard every excuse about this kid has it rough, this one can't get a ride, this one needs the program, etc. This isn't the federal government, where your given a free ride off the sweat of others.
  9. I'm going to predict that the Pioneers get shut out at least 6 games this year. With some of the moves being made on the offense they'll be lucky to get a first down. Wilkinson is beginning to look like a genius for moving
  10. Everyone wants to blame the o line, especially the QB who's so afraid of throwing a pick that he holds the ball until the only guy he'll throw to is open or the RB who's afraid to take a hit that he tries to bounce everything outside and doesn't have enough speed to do so. Go back and look at the last two years of game film and you'll see the holes were there to run thru and not even the pros can give 6-7 seconds of time to throw. I'm not talking about the QB that was there last year either, he made plays with his legs when receivers weren't open.
  11. No, That offense and the coach that runs it will be the problem of the Franklin County Rebels, for a year or two until something happens and he tucks tail and runs away just like he's done every other place he's been.
  12. Has anyone heard anything about who Coach Moore will be keeping on staff. I'm sure over the holiday break he's talked to a few of the one's from last year. I hope the administration let's him make those decisions and not the usual crew. I hear a few parents still clamoring for one of last years assistants to get the job, wish they'd just get over it. He didn't get it for a reason and that right there is one of those reasons. I hope everyone can drop all this me and my kid BS and just let them play ball.
  13. So I guess Warren County will be the only school in the Super 32 next year with neither it's head football coach or boys head basketball coach having a certified teaching liscense. Has The Pioneer athletic program reverted to youth leagues?
