Madison Southern is located in Berea Kentucky, 1 hr north of Ky/Tn state line on I75. Madison Southern will be hosting an all womans Wrestling tournament on December 22. We will have three mats , top three individuals will medal and top two teams will trophy. $125.00 for team entry fee or $20 for each wrestler. Please make checks payable to Madison Southern Wrestling boosters. Weigh in will be at 8:00am , Wrestling will start at 10:00. If there are any questions please feel free to ask. Whitley co high school is 15 mins from ky/tenn state line on I75 They will be hosting a 16 man bracketed tournament on dec 29th and looking for teams. In addition to the tournament there will be an extra mat set up for j.v. wrestlers to get matches throughout the day snd for kids that go out of tournament to get extra matches as well. Tates Creek high school in Lexington Ky will be hosting duals Dec 16th. We are looking to add a Tn team. It will be a 6 team duals that is rd robin consisting of 3 Ky teams and 3 Teams from surrounding states. The Ky teams will be Tates Creek, Wayne Co, and Male Hs. Wayne County and Male are both looking at being top 10 teams this year and Tates Creek will be looking to have a strong team and will be a top 25 team. Tates Creek Invitational will be held Dec 30th and looking for a few teams We are located in Lexington, right off I75. This is a very competitive 16 team bracketed tournament. We place top 4 with very large medals, 2 MOW, And top 3 teams place. Also the team champion receives a banner. We also run an extra mat for j.v. wrestlers to get matches. I'm looking a fill a few spots in Tates Creek Invitational for next year. We are located in Lexington Kentucky. With New Years Eve being on Saturday next season, we will be having it on Friday December 30th. This is a 16 man bracketed tournament.This past season it was a great tournament and I look for it to be again. We had 7 top 25 teams , 5 which were top 5 including the state runner up. Last year it was packed with great kids.State placers by numbers were 1st-3, 2nd-5, 3rd-3, 4th-5, 5th-2, 6th-5, 7th-2, 8th-2. We give 4" medals for champions, 3"for 2-4. 2 outstanding wrestler trophies,and the team champions get a set of medals for their team along with a banner from the tournament. I'm still getting teams together, but as of now I know we will have Cooper, Madison Cental, Harrison co, Ashland,and Henry Clay, all of which will be good teams. Also, we were completed at 6:30 this year. I also encourage teams to bring all extras. The tournament is varsity only, but I set a mat up in the Cafeteria for jv and have an official for it. This year all the extras got tons of matches and wrestled almost all day in there. The kids who were even in the tournament and maybe went 0-2 or 1-2 went over there and got matches as well. Western Hills High School is Frankfort KY is looking for 1 or 2 TN reams for a multi state duals tournament next year. November 29th I will be hosting an 8- 12 team dual tournament. I'm looking at having 2-3 ky schools, then the other spots will be filled with teams from tn, In, oh, and wv. We are located in frankfort ky.
