  1. Dang it - thought Lady Cavs had a good shot - sounds like the press wore them out - didnt know Warren senior PG was out - that'll be closer in home gym - radio made it sound like a tough game - Stone rolled over Rhea which is staring at the cellar....I'm going to stick with my picks at: Cumberland Cookeville White Warren Stone Rhea Stone/White/Warren all have upset potential Cookeville will probably lose to one of these Battle for 2/3/4 will be hotly contested! It's all good!
  2. PEARLBALL: Cannon Co great place to watch ball - old school feel Big Blonde back now? - itll get better KD for 3 having.tough year - needs help - they're young - new coach Some of D6 still tangle with Cannon and others in that D....it's certainly no cake walk.
  3. If I recall I came over a bridge at the County line between White/Warren - with a fairly large river....just thought it to plain jane for a Border Battle..... Stone Memorials Coming Out Party - Debutantes Ball....Sweet 16...Introducing yadayadyada .. Sorry - feeling a little creative today - this is a good day for D6 Here's to the D Here's to the 3 Here's to the how sad I hope the Jets will be! Here's to pick Here's to the roll Here's to the Tigerettes paying the toll Here's to the Man Here's to the Zone Here's to the W for young Stone! Houston - WEB RADIO ACTIVATED....14 games pre-programmed T minus 1 hr 45 mins. We're ready for launch.
  4. T minus 7 hours for the I-40 Sorties - T minus 7 hours for the Rumble on the River - T minus 7 hours for the Debutante Ball - Wish all your girls health and success tonight!
  5. Ok fellas - you're about 36 hours away from getting a feel for what D6 looks like early in season and close to Christmas break, which is time for adjustments to be made, prior to week to week match ups in 2016. How's it looking? Seems there are a ton of White Co personnel here - any other people that have keen insights to other programs? I tend to look at the "meat" of D6 which to me is right in the middle. I wouldn't use the word weak down towards 5/6 but "in transition" or of course, "rebuilding"....I like the like how D6 looks to be battle ready with a division between what I see is 1/2 then 3/4 then 5/6.....barring boy issues, class issues, crazy parent pressures, confidence, stress, home vs away, almost anything can and probably will happen..... Going patriotic tomorrow - I'll take both RED/WHITE/BLUE teams for wins - Cookeville tougher than most think - Warren had 20+ points from bench last game - I'm going with youth in Stone - bright eyed and going to get better.....
  6. D(istrict) Day: DEC 11th: Never said Warren would but IF anyone can in this District it will be Cookeville to ground the Jets. 7 guns - 2 backup guns and 1 very big Big - wingspan like a 747. Cookeville - lots of slashers/hustlers/fundiamentalist - 2 bigs can play - and a Bomber. Cookeville hopes to ground the Jets but unlikely. Would love to see Jets loose 2 in a row as Blackmon next up. White - tough game with Pickett - if they win, come the 11th, they'll be full of confidence, swag, and feeling fierce like Tigerette teams of seasons past. Destiny is in their own hands. Warren - 2 should be easy wins needed to get to what all hope is a barn burner on the 11th. If not motivated, Lady Pioneers leave Sparta sad and receive their own sticker for effort. Either winner moves to a solid 3rd in D6. Stone - rumor has it that some athletes are leaving CC for Stone for "issues" - no idea what that means. Stone 1-2 years away from being a true threat to all. Rhea - basketball drought in Evensville - at no time they play anyone in D6 will they have the best athlete in the gym.
  7. No way Stone wins tonight. Multi level marketing coach or not. He aint that special. Rhea will be sad leaving Sparta tonight. Maybe give them a sticker for effort on way out of town. SLOW the Cumberland Run and Fun offense down - take it to a stall - force them to 1/2 court and you may get within 10....her offense isnt as pretty when the entire game is played at 1 mph. Regardless = Cumberland by 25+. Stone finishes 3rd in this District this year? Stoned much? I'll host a pizza party for them at the District Tourny if they do. Promise. You dont have to worry if Im a man of my word cause I'm certainly not worried they will. That Sparta team will grow into the team its suppose to. They have a destiny and it's not 5th in any year in the forseeable future. Warren is Jekyll/Hyde - could be dangerous to 4 teams but they wont be 6th.
  8. Girls = Shea Panter Boys = Chris Sullens
  9. I apologize - I attend over 200 games a year....I meant a tough region...Middle TN is home to some good girls basketball....the TN Flight Team had twin towers at 6'4 and a handful of quick shooting guards...TN Power had nothing but talent from top to bottom and almost pulled off a shocker that would have not made NIKE happy....Believe the Power Team is pieces of 3 District 6 teams...so, the ones I saw play were tough...if its evidence of the rest of their teams then Cookeville/White/Warren all look to be coming back pretty strong....I researched the new hire some - looks pretty solid...still holds records at her Alma Mater...time will tell. Someone should snatch up that Power Coach - he's all business.
  10. the joke is the former regime claiming a great season by beating mostly 1A and 2A schools....This website has them at 16 wins = 2 District wins.....I am embedded in this District as there are several players who have sparked interest in small mid major programs. I track the AAU teams alot of these girls play on - that and some of the Blackmon Girls, Hooptown girls and I attended the TN Nike Flight game in Mboro this weekend - then drove over to Cookeville - this is a tough District.
