I am sad to hear that Andrew Garland has resigned as volleyball coach. After speaking with Mr. Surlas I certainly understand why he chose to step aside. At some point the good of the institution will take precedence over that of the individual. I'm my opinion, if you are a booster, alumni or parent you should have faith that the coaches you hire are concerned with doing what is right for the school.
