  1. I understand that this choice is a major inconvenience on the part of the fans and even the teams, but you have to make choices based on the safety of the players not the convenience of the fans. As a former player, It would have been extremely hard to play that game at 11 or later. Having been on a bus at 9 and not had a meal since 4, it was not a good situation for the players. So I understand the choice to postpone and think that the choice will make this the great game it deserves to be. Go Big Red
  2. I can respect this Mason kid as a good back, but please don't compare him to Hurd. I played against him three years and he was a man amongst boys. You could sense that even when he was sidelined in 2013. That being said I believe that coach Counce Jr and the rest of the staff will have the team ready to roll. 35-13 Henry county
  3. Indy troll indeed.. Its funny how they come out of the woodwork when the team is relevant for the first time. Just couldn't hang in 6a
  4. Coaching staff has a lot of energy this week. The attitude of revenge is in the air in Henry County. It will be a different team from when they played earlier. HC 24 CHS 10
  5. Everyone knows it to be true. The Big Red will travel to a middle TN school, line up with a fullback (which they rarely see) and run the ball down the throats of the cougars. HC has won 2 state titles by running the football and playing great defense , so this is just another step in the process. HC 35 Centennial 14
  6. the base offense never changed. The same plays were ran as have been ran under James Counce in his entire coaching career. The difference was made solely in the sets used to run the plays. Whether the traditional "I" or doubles either side was the set it's still power football
  7. The running back position will be a key spot to watch next year. Some exciting play makers coming up, but they are not what HC is used to seeing the past few years. They will have big play ability on the edges, but may struggle between the tackles due to lack of size. Games at any level are won by the hogs up front. Defensively the line still looks stout as ever, with guys who have been playing a great deal for a couple years now. The offensive line will have to develop leadership amongst themselves in order to give those young backs space to work.
  8. I like Hillsboro in this one by 2, possible 3 touchdowns. The D that Hillsboro puts on the field is big and athletic, along with an equally potent offense that can flat out score and pound opponents
