  1. The head high school coach can too. The team just can’t have uniforms or a name that includes the name of the high school. Head coaches host camps for elementary and middle school kids all the time. There is no difference in giving instruction at a camp and giving instruction during an actual game. Coaching is coaching.
  2. Campbell and Foulks had double figures. Loftis is two points shy of 1,000 and missed most of his sophomore year with an injury. The other rotational players play hard on both ends and know their role. I am sure they are thankful for Shultz but you don’t win 33 and make the final four with one player. Well coached team. Very deserving of all they have achieved.
  3. It’s the same for Middleton out west
  4. Copper Basin is a long way from any A schools. Greenback may be the closest but any other conference game for them will be a haul.
  5. Move them in with South Pittsburgh and Richard Hardy.
  6. 1- Happy Valley, Johnson County, Chuckey-Doak, West Greene, and South Greene 2- Union County, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg Pittman, and Cumberland Gap. If they have to add another to district 2 I’m not sure if Kingston or Alcoa is closer.
  7. Chuckey-Doak is in the same county as West Greene and South Greene. Happy Valley is in the same county as Hampton. I’d say Johnson County, Hampton, Happy Valley will be together. Not sure if the Greene County schools will be in district 1 or 2. If one of them gets sent to 2 it would be West Greene.
  8. Just a guess...Cutoff for A will be around 377.
  9. The alternative would be to not count virtual students...some of which would be participating in sports. It would be hard and probably unrealistic to create a rule to accommodate all situations. The TSSAA has to rule on what to do for those who wish to participate. They can’t base decisions on individual schools that have virtual students who don’t want to participate.
  10. 4 classes divided evenly. However, if a school chooses to play up then they don’t send one down to take their place. So the number of schools in each class will be slightly uneven.
  11. Virtual students have the opportunity to play sports and participate in extracurricular activities. Therefore they are and should be counted. Not sure I agree that they are allowed to do so, but if they are it must be added in.
  12. 6 games per day for four days starting Tuesday and ending Friday. 4 championship games on Saturday.
  13. They can but the coach counts as one of the 10
