Girls' side AA is the toughest, and AAA is the weakest. AAA, for some reason , has really shown the "waterdown" effect of going to 4 classes

Capps d2 type player, at mid major d1 level would get some minutes as a role player later in career. Beaty d1 mid major player will have a good career at right fit. At Power 5 would get lost in shuffle not high enough ceiling. It is what it is.

4th best team in state not too shabby, Fayette Ware at 3rd imo.

If Upperman dominates Dyersburg, then 7 AAA district is the state tournament . My grand daughter youth league team averages 14 points a game that's just crazy to me. Go Upperman.

14 points! SG beat Dyersburg, we will see if Dyersburg coach has learned anything and adjusts to tape, if Upperman gets a lead it will be over early and ugly quick. Upperman must have perfected the Jim Boeheim zone. 14 points wow!

A state tournament semi final team only scores 14 points, I figured 4 classifications watered it down, dang not a good look for Tssaa.

At some point Upperman lack of offense will rear its ugly head; however, it may be in June at team camp when it doesn't matter.At this point, I aint betting against them.

I agree maybe a few different adjustments,but Heritage pretty dang good, they had the best player on the floor, and the supporting cast was solid plus having to play on the road that was a tough atmosphere, White County had a chance in the end from the foul line. That's all a coach can do, now did he do stupid stuff like hold the ball for 4 or 5 minutes, make stupid subs etc .no he didn't.

Watching the game , I never saw Coach Dodgen shooting foul shots at the end. Come on now. His strategy was fine just didn't work out.

Match up zone, Sparta had to know it was coming, either run a big at high post and distribute or must have good guard play to Penetrate dish or shoot jumpers which most high school players can't do and Sparta didn't.

Heritage and Signal Mountain on the otherside, Heritage might be concerning, White just played Signal couple weeks back. I predict Upperman at Heritage and Signal at White.

It doesn't matter who wins ,White and Upperman are going to the glass house .

Upperman is in the best position (unfamiliar opponent), don't be shocked if Stone beats White County.

Nah, may look smart ,but Upperman is trying to win, just don't have the horses like the past 10 yrs. It might work out though.

Upperman ran into a bigger, faster, stronger opponent in PC. Upperman needed to be fearless and gritty to win. Today ,Upperman was timid and avoiding contact on defense . Just watch the film for proof. The muff punt was the game changer! 4 Upperman players watched as the kicker ran by.
